What would a team of super heroes drive? An Acura of course.
Not only do movie stars make a lot of money, but they also get the chance to drive some really cool cars - both off an on-screen. For actor Robert Downey, Jr., that cool car was the Acura NSX Spyder concept, which was also just revealed online last week. This past weekend was the premiere of the highly anticipated "The Avengers", starring Downey, Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson.
Along with the NSX Spyder concept that was also driven by Downey, Jr.'s Tony Spark/Ironman character, the film's stars also arrived to the red carpet premiere in a fleet of Acura models.
Acura's Vice President of National Market Operations, Mike Accavitti stated that his company "is excited to continue our presence as the office vehicle of S.H.I.E.L.D in Marvel films", which also include "Captain America", and "Thor".
In the latest movie, both Hawkeye and Black Widow are shown driving militarized Acura's that include the MDX, ZDX, and TL. The all-new 2013 RDX also makes a so-called cameo appearance in the film. Be sure to check out both videos featuring the actors and filmmakers arriving to the big premiere. The film will open across the U.S. on Friday, May 4th.
