Video: 2013 Nissan Altima Officially Teased
After accidently revealing images of the mid-sized saloon, Nissan has provided a peek at its new lines.
The new Altima was spied a few days ago when Nissan accidentally revealed the car in a video they released that showcased 30 years of the Nissan Technical Center in Atsugi, Japan. Having realized the error, the video was swiftly removed from the site. The company has now published an official teaser of the 2013 Nissan Altima showing the car's new lines from above; and has also confirmed that it will make its world premiere at the New York Auto Show in April.
That aside we know that it will debut a brand-new hybrid system. This utilizes a 2.5-liter supercharged gasoline engine with a compact CVT gearbox incorporating a single electric motor and two clutches with energy stored in a lithium-ion battery. The FWD powertrain also shares components with the RWD 2012 Infiniti M35h.
