Citroen’s Mystery DS Model Spied in Paris

Less than 24 hours after teaser shots were posted, a live shot of a prototype was taken.

Following the pair of teaser shots on their Facebook page, Citroen has been caught out by a savvy blog reader who managed to snap the prototype before it was quickly hidden under the covers. From the image we can conclude that the new DS model, likely to be the called the DS9, is a five-door and as we previously reported appears to be an evolution of the Metropolis Concept that was unveiled at the Shanghai World Fair in 2010, but with a shooting-brake body.

Whether this is the car Citroen hope will represent its range-topping premium model for exclusive markets such as China remains to be seen. However we should know more soon as the mystery car is expected to debut at the Beijing Motor Show next month.
