Well, this one is one of the few that actually deserve the badge. Others, that only have a performance pack don't deserve it IMO..

Raymond where are you getting those numbers from? My dads friend has a m5 series and I remember him saying that he got like 22 on the highway and like 18 in the city. And his is an older model, 2007 I believe.
It gets like 17mpg highway. When you select M, I goes down to like 9. Far from economical. Maybe the diesel will be better or just make it a torque monster.

Don't get me wrong this is a fabulous looking car. Personally I think it is over priced, not very fuel efficient, big for what it is and not nearly enough head and leg room in the back row. Would rather go for the Porsche Cayenne.
Lol. Practical and economical? Didn't you read about the first reviews of this cross over from carbuzz or consumer reports and motor trend mag? They said the same thing about how impractical and pretty much the most useless car BMW had built.
I wish the US government would get off the EV crap and open their eyes to diesel. Imagine what this car could be like if it had even more diesel competition in the market.
BMW's in Europe normally start with cloth and you pay extra for leather.
