Description: The 2013 Elantra Coupe has just made its debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Hyundai's latest version of the industry-leading Elantra was an eye-catcher to say the least and shows the maturation...Add Comments2
Bob JonesFeb 08, 2012 Why's the coupe longer than the sedan?
Description: The Elantra coupe also takes the sedan's engine as well, meaning the 1.8-liter inline-4-cylinder engine carries over. It is rated at 148hp and 131 lb-ft of torque. The 2013 Elantra Coupe practica...Add Comments1
Henry WertzFeb 08, 2012 28/39? Better than a kick in the nuts 8-) But really, that's a prettyd decent HP (and more importantly, torque) figure for an engine that size and car that size.
Phillip PetersonAug 25, 2012 I love my 2013 Elantra stick it's awesome, coupe looks sweet but same specs so no biggie! I don't mind the 4 door makes it easier for my son to get in & out, now bring out turbo E in 4 door model!
Terry LouxFeb 08, 2012 Korean heritage really shows on these. Not a good thing
Matt PiccoloFeb 08, 2012 I agree... Copy of the civic much!!!
Matt PiccoloFeb 08, 2012 Theirs no way this wouldn't b boring
Cho DanFeb 08, 2012 Slam it, stretch it, put the engine in the back, slap a Lamborghini badge on it and raise the price to 300 grand so all these idiots won't think it's so boring. It's a freakin KIA people!
Matt PiccoloFeb 08, 2012 Theirs absouloutley nothing different from the sedan except theirs 2 doors... BORING... I'll take a civic coupe
Josiah Thomas ClementsFeb 08, 2012 I mean the roofline is boring... The window lines could use some spicing up too...
Jason DannheimFeb 08, 2012 I'm guessing they drew inspiration from The Dark Knight when designing the front end. "Why so serious?"
Kyle McCulloughFeb 08, 2012 A bit awkward, but it should make a nice, stylish first car.
Justin ChalkChalk SmalyinatorFeb 08, 2012 I like the four door. These not as much. The roof needs two inches taken out down the center and the sides pushed in.
Matt PiccoloFeb 08, 2012 Looks EXACLY like the 4 door :( and I hate the 4 door, its just trying to hard! It looks horrible
Mike ConradFeb 09, 2012 Not aggressive enough for a coupe.
Tyler MurphyFeb 08, 2012 Looks better then the wheel arches of an eclipse which are to big. It just takes less to fill the space this way.
Matt PiccoloFeb 08, 2012 I agree As well... Typical hyundai though lmao!!!
Darius GloverFeb 08, 2012 This side profile does look awkward
Tom McleodFeb 08, 2012 I will always hate how some cars (traditionally Hyundai) construct a car where the wheels look to small fr the car.. The wheel arches are so low and makes the whole thing look so awkward. Anti aggressive.
Phillip PetersonAug 25, 2012 Love how they added the rear diffuser as a lot of us Elantra owner myself included are buying them since they're not included, just adds a little sportiness to it! They are amazing little cars and they sell like crazy!
Jake KnickmeyerFeb 08, 2012 @jason if you read the article, a 6 speed manual is also available.
Jason DannheimFeb 08, 2012 No 6-speed? It is a coupe after all.
Knox FerraroFeb 08, 2012 Justin, it helps you to not overshoot a gear like you're bound to do if all you have to do is pull back. It quickly becomes a fluid motion.
Justin ChalkChalk SmalyinatorFeb 08, 2012 Dont mind the interior. Looks alittle cramped. Cant stand the auto shifters these days, need to move 4-5 directions to drive forward.
Phillip PetersonAug 25, 2012 It's true they've actually came a long way in a relatively short time, my step mom had the Accent back in i think 2000 brand new 60,000kms it was burning oil running like shit no power but still a gas miser! Still gas miser but looks 100% nicer!
Jake KnickmeyerFeb 08, 2012 No, Caleb, it isn't crap. It's boring but Hyundai makes some damn good cars nowadays.
I was wondering the same thing
