Cameron FosterMar 07, 2012 all you people saying she sucks at racing, i bet she will beat all of you and you guyz cant even drive a nascar
Greg LewisFeb 27, 2012 I heard even though it was rained out, she still wrecked and DNF....
Jason W. EversFeb 26, 2012 Too bad driving fast wasnt in her muscle memory.
Pratik ParijaFeb 26, 2012 Letting her hands go. Experience
Anthony J. MitchellFeb 26, 2012 Amazing what she did with her hands. That is serious muscle memory from experience.
William DownsFeb 25, 2012 yea i was reading something and got confused thanks for catching that
Zach SullivanFeb 25, 2012 Uh will u might wana check ur facts she didn't come from f1 she came from the irl and even tho indycars look somewhat similar to f1 cars they are worlds apart
William DownsFeb 25, 2012 every one needs to hop off her ass, she came from f1 racing, takes time to get used to it, yes she is not amazing but she wants to do something new, don't hate cause she is better then u in a car
Cho DanFeb 25, 2012 Steering wheel out of my hand. I was holding on so tight it broke my left wrist. I should've let go.
Cho DanFeb 25, 2012 I broke my wrist during an accident while driving a 1978 ford school bus. I had a old timer run a stop sign in front of me and almost made it accross my lane but I hit him with my left front. It pushed my bumper into the left wheel and jerked the
Antonio FalsettiFeb 25, 2012 Not her fault. Everyone here wouldn't have known to take their hands off the wheel. Stop hating.
Brad WoodFeb 25, 2012 That was a massive crash that; a) no man here could avoid. B) few men here would walk out of the car that quickly. C) few men here would think to get his hands on his helmet to save his hands. She is talented, and tough (mentally & physically).
Greg LewisFeb 25, 2012 Moron, I was using 70 as an example. Stay where your skill level is. If you can't drive at the speeds of NASCAR or such, don't race in it! You're only a liability to yourself and others!
Zach SullivanFeb 24, 2012 It's like an oval so u go straight and then u turn left sometimes
Shane HeidFeb 24, 2012 Damn that was a hard hit! She's lucky she is okay
Shane HeidFeb 24, 2012 Jason Evers you cracked me up man haha well played sir
Cho DanFeb 24, 2012 This just out of Daytona, Danica Patrick just took the Pole Position for the Driveforcopd 300 Nationwide series race and also posted the fastest lap of the qualifying session with a speed of 182.74 mph. Keep hating haters.
Pfc TombFeb 24, 2012 LMFAO Raymond. Time to grab the buffing wheel.
Cho DanFeb 24, 2012 Haters, if you don't think she can race take it up with the owner of her car. I'm sure you all know more about what it takes to race competitively in NASCAR than Dale Earnhart Jr does.
Usama ArshadFeb 24, 2012 That actually was a really gud idea
Anthony Villa-GarciaFeb 24, 2012 For people who say she suck, she has obviously developed a name, she has won races, and she has been racing for a while which means she doesnt suck, and indy car does do ovals for retards thinking she only does 70 on tracks. And as for the video, i feel bad because her first race she is taken out and now she has to start from the back because of another driver, considering it was only two turns fr...
Phil JohnsonFeb 24, 2012 I honestly don't think any of us could do any better. Every single person in here would have wrecked in that situation, and if not, it's only because we'd all be FAR behind the rest of the pack.
Raymond ReynosoFeb 24, 2012 Fine. I'll be the one to say it... That'll buff right out.
Thomas MackeyFeb 24, 2012 Well that's one way to show your lack of intelligence.
Jason W. EversFeb 24, 2012 I like the bar lowered. Then I limbo right under it. Cause I dont have boobs.
Thomas MackeyFeb 24, 2012 She isn't that great I will admit but don't be some sexist dumbass. The quality of these commits is surprising. Let's raise the bar guys.
Peter RaczFeb 24, 2012 Great reaction to let go of the steering wheel! Open wheel racing has taught her well! Many NASCAR drivers would be watching the race from their couches instead of participating in this Sunday's upcoming race.
Greg LewisFeb 24, 2012 No, of course ever racer has skills. Just like you and I do. The difference is level of skill. Hers is outclassed where she is. Needs to race where she is competitive at. If you're good racing at 70mph, and everyone does, stay THERE, not race at 100.
Justin RouthFeb 24, 2012 How did that kitchen get on the racetrack?!
Tj BlankenshipFeb 24, 2012 I don't hate her because she's a woman. I hate her because she I affiliated with GoDaddy.com.
Jason W. EversFeb 24, 2012 I cant give birth...women cant drive. Sorry, its just a fact.
Quinn ConnerFeb 24, 2012 @zachery. Take other editors news much? They talked about her speeding in a yahoo article and you basically said it word for word. Get your own thoughts. And yes, if I was speeding I would definitely say " I go 200mph for a living"
Adelaide MarconiFeb 24, 2012 Zachary, stop being such a biased prick please.
Zachary SindelarFeb 24, 2012 Also it is dumb for a girl to always try to prove that there just as good at stuff than men. Firefighter is a good start, a guy who can't carry a ladder wouldn't allowed to be one. But a girl who can't carry a ladder still can be one? Okay.
Zachary SindelarFeb 24, 2012 She's an idiot, always trying to get out of tickets by pulling the Im a nascar driving card, I'm a professional. She SUCKS! And I Quote the cop said: I don't know who you are and I don't care! Haha too awesome!
Nick StiFeb 24, 2012 Women have the right to participate in sports, but they're so boring to watch
Nick SmithFeb 24, 2012 Yeah Greg, anyone who's good at anything has never screwed up, not even once, ever. Enjoy trying to backup your opinion on this one.
Cho DanFeb 24, 2012 Greg, by your logic no race car driver should ever wreck right? I mean if they have skills. That's a stupid statement to make, the best drivers in the world wreck. Name one driver who has won a championship who's never wrecked.
Greg LewisFeb 24, 2012 @jack you can't compare NASCAR to F1, F1 is the greatest drivers from
Around the world, letting go is second nature. You're talking about people who "bump" each other as they turn left! Like a mall parking lot!
Kevin IrishFeb 24, 2012 I feel sexism here. Should women not play basketball, baseball or soccer either?
Greg LewisFeb 24, 2012 Lol. notice she was next to last? Really? Someone who can't drive and is constantly in the rear of the field gets this much attention because she has boobs? She would have never wrecked if she had skills, she'd been away from the crapy drivers.
David HarrisFeb 24, 2012 I mean it would not be interesting if a women did not race
David HarrisFeb 24, 2012 Well thibault then if women should not race it would be interesting.. If a women won a NASCAR race it would be interesting..
Payne Hodges WilsonFeb 24, 2012 Jack I think it was just to prove that she knows how to race so it could silence the haters a little bit who think she can't race at all
Pfc TombFeb 24, 2012 Elijah, it was a joke, relax…
Elijah McCordFeb 24, 2012 Thibault that is exactly the reason why u will never be in charge of the rules. How would u like it if u were a women and wanted to race?
Thibault LeroyFeb 24, 2012 proves that women should not race (even if it wasnt her fault) :p
Jack HigginsFeb 24, 2012 I don't know why Waltrip mentioned her hands. Every F1 driver does that in side impacts, every Fjunior does it...
Pfc TombFeb 24, 2012 "Did you see what she did with her hands?"-that's what he said.
Cian RulesFeb 24, 2012 The only reason why she survived was becouse its so stiff as a result of not being a stock car
Thomas MackeyFeb 24, 2012 If you agree than it does not suck.
Raymond ReynosoFeb 24, 2012 I agree with you Thomas, NASCAR does suck.
Thomas MackeyFeb 24, 2012 Alan I would love to see you even try to drive a stock car with 900 horse at 200 regardless if you only turn left. It's not as easy as it looks. Stock cars are the most unpredictable cars no computers. Indy and f1 cars all rely on computers. F1 and Indy are great. Very cool. But it takes skill to drive a stock car as well.
Blaire QuattroFeb 24, 2012 Ew drag racing lol. Idk, I think the most fun to watch would have to be rally lol. Most enjoyable (in a good environment ) time attack.
Cho DanFeb 24, 2012 Kevin is right! NASCAR needs to be more like the V8 supercar series in Australia.
Michael GallagherFeb 24, 2012 I see what you did there Haywood... Use the entertainment of cartoons to your advantage :) very nice
Kevin IrishFeb 24, 2012 I think NASCAR should go back to using stock cars. Take a car off the showroom floor, strip it out, add a roll cage, harness and all other safety equipment and race. These cars are starting to look like stock cars, but they still aren't stock.
Alex SharpFeb 24, 2012 I dont watch nascar, but its been poppin up everywhere on me this week. To me, it seems like nascar is less of a "whos car is faster" race and more of a "calculated high speed passing" race.
Payne Hodges WilsonFeb 24, 2012 Everyone bashes NASCAR and says its terrible because they only turn left. But what about drag racing it seems like everyone on this app can't get enough of it. Sounds like a double standard to me
Cho DanFeb 24, 2012 Jack, put Carl Edwards in his NASCAR racer and send him out on a wet track to compete and see what happens. Any F1 driver in the world would make him look like a amateur.
Jack HigginsFeb 24, 2012 Of course more people bash NASCAR who have no idea how to drive one. It's not just turning left. It's hard as hell to do. And again must I mention that Carl Edwards beat your beloved Schumi in the Ace of Champions?
Rami WilsonFeb 24, 2012 Shake it off and get ready for Sunday!
RAHPFeb 24, 2012 A continuous left turn is not racing.....
Cho DanFeb 24, 2012 "getting taste of NASCAR". Yeah, were one driver can wreck and take out half the field. What a joke. They say nascar is the best racing in the world, well, race in the rain like every other racing series in the world does, even motorcycles, prove it!
Description: A typically nasty NASCAR incident could have been worse were it not for Patrick instinctively letting go of the steering wheel to avoid damage to her wrists as the car slammed sideways into the wall. ...Add Comments6
Raymond ReynosoFeb 24, 2012 Lol I love that everyone's argument is to ask if someone does a specific sport. No he does not drive NASCAR. It doesn't mean that he isn't entitled to his opinion as a spectator. I think Patrick sucks, her driving and her commercials.
Greg LewisFeb 24, 2012 Lol no I do not race NASCAR, cause my ass would be in the wall like hers. Difference is, I know my limits and im not trying to break into a female dominated field. Look out Victoria's Secret here I come!
Jason W. EversFeb 24, 2012 Greg is right. She doesnt have the skills to compete. Its like Kyle Petty, but instead of a famous last name, she has a period.
Adelaide MarconiFeb 24, 2012 Greg, do you drive in NASCAR by chance?
Greg LewisFeb 24, 2012 I'm tired of her. Period. Being a woman is nothing, driving skill is everything in NASCAR (or any other motorsport) and she just doesn't have it.
Igor NatsioksFeb 24, 2012 There is too much male pressure on her that's for sure. I give her props for not quiting.
Description: During the week, Patrick's participation at the Daytona 500 came under fire following the way she was accepted into the race, with teams trading in points rather through qualifying. Organizers re...Add Comments0
Jason W. EversFeb 26, 2012 Awesome. Erase my comments. She is still only a media magnet for both NASCAR and busted ass carbuzz.
Nick SingletonFeb 26, 2012 She has never won consistently at in any car at the top level so no one would pay attention to her if she was a he
Brad WoodFeb 25, 2012 Article would exist. Chauvinistic comments would not.
Erich KretzFeb 25, 2012 If you want to yield a double-edged sword, you'd do well to remember that it cuts both ways.
Erich KretzFeb 25, 2012 If it was Daniel Patrick none of Danica's sponsors would be on board, since they're sponsoring her more for her lady parts and publicity than her driving skills. Thus there would BE no Daniel Patrick.
Greg LewisFeb 24, 2012 Her sexual appeal should not influence you as a fan of her driving skill. Yes she's attractive (not in my eyes, but give her the benefit). If it was Daniel Patrick and it was a he, would this article exist? Doubt it
Alex SharpFeb 24, 2012 Yall can have her. She doesnt do much for me.
Alex BouckleyFeb 24, 2012 I got to meet her. Pretty indeed.
