Yeah is your face ready for my growler?
Juan Ceja Feb 22, 2012
Wow... What a coincidence... I was watching an old episode of Top Gear yesterday of the top 100 cars of all time. And the Jaguar E-Type came at #1. Lol
Patrick Schalk Feb 22, 2012
Cesar I'll take a growler all over your face
Jordan Smith Feb 22, 2012
CarBuzz, it'd really be nice if you could ban this Cesar Salad guy
Miles Drinkwater Feb 22, 2012
Growler: definition: an angry post modern vag
Teddy MacDonell Feb 22, 2012
I'd take a Growler over a Lyonheart any day....
Justin Harris Feb 22, 2012
Oh I have to go and wax the growler! -James May
Patrick Schalk Feb 22, 2012
Haha I've heard of some people refer to taking a poop as a "growler"
Angel G. Ortega-Valentin Feb 22, 2012
I wonder if the name change had anything to do with the female body part that's also called "growler" in the UK....
shabbat73 Feb 24, 2012
this car is simply amazing!! looks like the jag e-type reborn
Max Delena Feb 23, 2012
It's like an sls combined with an e-type
Matt Hunter Feb 23, 2012
IMO the original E-type looks a lot better
Elwood Friedchicken Stcharles Feb 22, 2012
@eddie thanks I didn't read it now I know
Adenis AK Ruci Feb 22, 2012
Beautiful British engineering at its best. Also I love the e type jag front end
Bryan Whitt Feb 22, 2012
It looks like an even pretty version of the front of a Fisker Karma
Abraham Mendoza Feb 22, 2012
Didn't think anyone could do that design again, but there it is!
Eddie Ethree Motors Feb 22, 2012
Elwood read the article buddy
Elwood Friedchicken Stcharles Feb 22, 2012
Reminds me of a e type jag from long ago
Surya Moorthi Feb 22, 2012

As much as we say it's over priced (I agree) every single one will be sold before the start going out to the public I can garuntee it
Michael Riley Feb 22, 2012
I'd like it more if it was a N/A V10 :)
quadrophine Feb 22, 2012
overpriced but still sexy. that's what you het
Tin Nguyen Feb 22, 2012
Almost 400k more than an xkr-s.
Tin Nguyen Feb 22, 2012
That's over price. Same engine as the xkr.
Erik Scherer Feb 24, 2012
That is, one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen!
Bob Turefannt Feb 24, 2012
Beautiful! If only they sold them in the US.
Patrick Schalk Feb 23, 2012
This is such a classic look. Freakin amazing. I'd drive it.
Brandon Whybrew Feb 23, 2012
what I'd give to have one!
Rami Wilson Feb 22, 2012
Wow! I don't know what else to say.
Julian Pilinci Feb 22, 2012
Definitely one of the most beautiful cars ever!
Christo Savaides Feb 22, 2012
I think the price is totally justified. You're not buying the performance, you're buying the stunning beauty.
Abraham Mendoza Feb 22, 2012
Wow, wire wheels look really good on a new car.
Isaac Rezkalla Feb 22, 2012
This reminds me of a bmw z8
Zachary Sindelar Feb 22, 2012
This is so awesome! I like it a lot!
Mark Suvorov Feb 22, 2012
Stop saying about it It's modern car not like old one And it's nicer than xk r that's why such price If somebody will buy this car, for whom 450,000 not so much. And when u ll see this car on the road u ll just watch and wont care about price
Dan Rather Feb 22, 2012
Yeah it is a total e-type that's probably because it's an E-type tribute it says it on the first paragraph
Teddy MacDonell Feb 22, 2012
I remember the article CarBuzz had a long time ago about how the E-type looks like a penis, drawing the connection between sports cars and compensation... this looks like a penis too
James Hannan Feb 22, 2012
Love it but a wee bit pricey much better cars on the market for that price
Blaze9794 Feb 22, 2012
Keep in mind, its not $450,000. Its ?450,000, which is roughly $600,000
Darren Nardo Feb 22, 2012
Beautiful ,wonder how long before its in a Bond flick??
Adithya Chandrasekhar Feb 22, 2012
The shit on the sides ruins to flowlines of the body
Tim Preisinger Feb 22, 2012
Very nice looking car! Not a very nice price tag..
Cody Jacques Feb 22, 2012
$450,000 is a total price overkill! Not to mention the word "Growler" is a females... bush... Not really a good name.
Squizgar Feb 22, 2012
007 would drive this.
Tyler Friggen Zdanowicz Feb 22, 2012
$450,000 for an E-Type recreation? Rediculous.
Tom Mcleod Feb 22, 2012
The negative offset deep dish style wire wheels are great on this car. Classy and powerful looking.. Amazing!
KeX Lim Feb 22, 2012
Only reason I wouldn't get one is the price. This thing is truly beautiful. A fitting tribute to the E-Type.
wmg Feb 22, 2012
I just wish jag could build a fast, sexy and low cost sports car like the original E-Type.
wmg Feb 22, 2012
the E type is one of my all time favorites. this is stunning. even the wire wheels have their own place. although truth be told, the price is extremely high.
Daniel Mcfarlan Riedmuller Feb 22, 2012
Very nice, not too fond of the strakes in the side vents. That being said, this is simply beautiful.
Timothy Hooker Feb 22, 2012
@Nala ...u read my mind..not translating those specs into half a million dollars
NalaKing Feb 22, 2012
What a stunning machine... but the price is.... omg
Whit Finnell Feb 22, 2012
Val is right...wire wheels work! With all the retro styling going on, these are the perfect touch!
Val Kortchak Feb 22, 2012
Absolutely gorgeous. I actually really like the wire wheels.
Andrew Hubbard Feb 22, 2012
I like the spoke wheels. Make it seem older IMO.
Rudolf Dassler Feb 22, 2012
It is absolutely beautiful. I'd buy it inna heartbeat.
Jason W. Evers Feb 22, 2012
And yet the rear of the Z8 looks nothing like the stumpy rump of the 507. The rear fenders are alike, but the Z8 tail lamps and rear look almost carbon copied from an E-Type.
Rudolf Dassler Feb 22, 2012
Jason, BMW got their inspiration from the 507. Do your homework.
Cody Jacques Feb 22, 2012
now if only bmw would fix theor grille they too could have a car which looks as good as this
Jason W. Evers Feb 22, 2012
Where do you think bmw got thier inspiration?
Carlo Cannuscio Feb 25, 2012
Not original at all just a recycling job from our beloved Etype, what a shame. CC
Nicolas Blake Mullen Feb 23, 2012
Beautiful car though
Matt Silva Feb 23, 2012
It is a beautiful car but the lines kind of break up at the very front an the very back. I also don't like all of the little chrome bits and the hood, they take away from the clean look that makes e-types and the eagle speedster so great.
Zachary Sindelar Feb 22, 2012
Very nice car from front to back! Haha
Charles Pope Feb 22, 2012
I see a bit of Porsche in there...
Sebastian Grey Feb 22, 2012
Good god this is fantastic.
Tom Mcleod Feb 22, 2012
With each new angle, I love this more and more!
Sean Williams Feb 22, 2012
I'm pretty sure anyone who read the first page of the article knows that.
Knox Ferraro Feb 22, 2012
You are seriously dumb if you haven't figured out this is a modern take on the Jaguar E-Type.
Patrick Myers Feb 22, 2012
The sides and back kinda look like a muscle car
Matt Silva Feb 23, 2012
The hood looks a little bit off
Matthew Reindorp Feb 22, 2012
Haha, brilliant Daniel
Daniel Mcfarlan Riedmuller Feb 22, 2012
Being all British made, I would have thought it would be right hand drive.
Rudolf Dassler Feb 22, 2012
The hood could've been a lil longer...
Allan T Chou Mar 19, 2012
Body is beautiful but interior, especially the dash needs work. The original e type had it all. Center panel gauges should be placed higher, more at eye level and perhaps larger more vintage type instruments. After all, it is a tribute car.
Zachary Sindelar Feb 22, 2012
Holy crap thats awesome
Adithya Chandrasekhar Feb 22, 2012
Dont like the brushed aluminium
Tim Preisinger Feb 22, 2012
Amazing... Totally beautiful. Wish it was cheaper..
Justin Routh Feb 22, 2012
I love the woodgrain steering wheel
Wissam Nasr Feb 22, 2012
This is just freaking awesome
Daniel Mcfarlan Riedmuller Feb 22, 2012
Is it just me or does it seem wrong to have this in left hand drive form.
Andrew Hubbard Feb 22, 2012
Eject button on the shifter haha.
Tanner Middleton Feb 22, 2012
this thing is driving on hopes in dreams if it has no pedals lol i aint seeing them...
Christo Savaides Feb 22, 2012
What type of transmission does this have? It looks like an auto but I feel like anything other than a true manual would be a travesty on a car like this.
Adenis AK Ruci Feb 22, 2012
What if pedals eject down like with some sorta motor. Or when the key is in the ignition
williamdllr Feb 22, 2012
One does not simply drive this car with pedals.
Saeed Bin Mohammed Feb 22, 2012
Jaguar e-type... In every inch
David Eslava Feb 22, 2012
yeep, no pedals lol beautiful interior though...
Chris O'Brien Feb 22, 2012
pedals?! you don't need no steenking pedals!
Carlton Salmon Feb 22, 2012
Is it just me or can't I see the pedals?
