The Denim Chin has sampled an array of supercars over the past few months. Here’s a collection of our favorites.

Jay Leno may not own a Ferrari but his collection includes well over 100 cars. So deciding on his top five proved a little bit tricky. Instead we have concentrated on the supercars that have graced his garage or that the Denim Chin has had the pleasure of sampling when on his travels. What follows is a selection of some of the finest supercars on the planet from the brutal Bugatti Vitesse to the sophisticated Pagani Huayra, all of which the chatshow host has been fortunate enough to drive over the past 12 months or so.

Leno has gone on record that his favorite brand is McLaren. As the owner of an F1 and now the new MP4-12C, Jay Leno takes the time to discuss in this video his new supercar and how much he enjoys driving it. Unlike other supercars, McLaren's latest is also a comfortable daily driver that, somehow, managed to avoid the U.S. gas guzzler tax.

On a recent visit to Japan, the Denim Chin drove a unique LFA Spyder on the Fuji Speedway. The speedster previews a run of 500 LFA roadsters which Lexus plans to build after all 500 coupes are spoken for. This LFA Spyder, packs the same 560hp engine as the coupe, but without a roof of any kind to get between the driver and the wail of the 4.8-liter V10.

Not long after the Pagani Huayra was made legal in America, Leno took it for a spin. The perfect blend of art and mechanics - "a rolling work of art," as Leno aptly puts it - the supercar is backed up by some serious numbers: 730 horsepower, 737 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, 230mph top speed, and a $1.4 million price tag.

Here, Leno takes charge of an orange Veyron Vitesse, which features an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. The world's fastest roadster takes the best parts of the Grand Sport and the Super Sport Veyrons. The result is 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, running to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 258 mph with the roof off.

In this last clip, Jay gets an SP Engineering-tuned 2010 Nissan GT-R into his garage for the lowdown on the modifications before hitting the road. Godzilla's base price is around $100,000, but for an additional investment of $29k, SPE will rework the engine for an additional 300 hp and add some carbon-fiber elements including a fat rear wing.
