The other day we brought you statistics and analysis on Ferrari discontunuing the availability of manual transmissions. But it's not the only one: down the road from Maranello in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Ferrari's "everything you can do, I can do better" arch-rival Lamborghini is giving up the ghost on stick shifts, too. Fast-shifting dual-clutch units are gaining traction (so to speak), prompting exotic automakers to ditch their old-school, three-pedal gearboxes to the benefit of performance, and even fuel economy and emissions.
