Lotus Introduces Evora Sports Racer

Special edition includes glossy black trim and lots of optional extras to make the Evora the best - and most beautiful - it can be.
There are plenty of things to like about the Lotus Evora, but if you're still looking for more, take a look at the new Sports Racer. Despite its name, the Evora Sports Racer is not a racing car at all, but bridges the gap to the competition-spec version with a host of added extras. Those include blacked-out wheels, roof, sills, splitter, diffuser, mirrors and badges, with red or black brake calipers. The trim contrasts nicely with the while, grey, blue or red exterior color options, but the Sports Racer edition doesn't stop there.

Lotus has also fitted it with the Sports Pack, Tech Pack and 2+2 seating - otherwise optional - as standard, representing a substantial savings of around seven thousand quid over a stock Evora specified with the same equipment. The special edition celebrates a productive racing season for Lotus, including the British Endurance Championship which the Evora won this year. Buyers in the UK or Europe can specify the Sports Racer trim for the base Evora (with the 276hp engine) for £57,900 or the supercharged 345hp Evora S at £65,900.
