Description: Don't get confused by yet another numerical addition to the BMW lineup. The German automaker announced months ago that the upcoming two-door version of its 3 Series sedan will be rechristened the...Add Comments4
Bala UnccNov 14, 2012 Why? They already have the convention with 5 and 6 series.
But I do like to call it as 3 series coupe.
John JenkinsNov 13, 2012 it doesn't make sense that the 2 door is the 4 series and the 4 door is the 3 series anyways
Ian NothingHillNov 13, 2012 BMW betrays the roots of the very car that is the bread and the butter to company. The first 3 series was a two door sedan over two generations, then came the four door in the second half of the E30 generation. For me, 3 series will always be in two door form! Too bad!!!
John SerelyNov 13, 2012 I can't wait for the ATS coupe
Tyler TarboxNov 13, 2012 What is this car even for? Like what is it aiming to compete with?
Description: We've also seen quite a few spy shots of test mules on the road, so don't be surprised to see the production version itself arrive sometime later next year. Like the outgoing 3 Series two-do...Add Comments8
Saqar KhudairyNov 13, 2012 Even numbers = coupe
Like the 4 serie, z4 and the 8 and 6 series minus 1series
Audi is the opposite since odd numbers are coupe styles like the a3 a5 and a7
Dennis ChoongNov 13, 2012 M4 doesn't sound quite right... doesn't have the vibe the name M3 carry
Tyler TorresNov 13, 2012 Yes yes, but M4 does sound pretty cool don't cha think.
Dillon DixonNov 13, 2012 A 4 series grand coupe, or essentially a cramped 3 series. Makes total sense to me. Not.
Tin NguyenNov 13, 2012 What's the differences between the 3 and 4 series? I think is a bad idea.
John AtnipNov 13, 2012 Does wonders for the Z4, and it's M variant...
Jared OteriNov 13, 2012 I agree it should just be the 3 series/m3 line up. Screw following Audi
Justin RouthNov 13, 2012 The m is the only thing i dont like so far.. It should be the M3
Colby ChurchNov 13, 2012 Lol, it's funny because it's true. You know there are people out there like that. "Look at that car honey, that guy is stupid to pay so much money for such an ugly paint job. You can't even tell what kind of car it is!" Lol
Cody FullertonNov 14, 2012 BMWs have never really been very good looking, they've just sort of been acceptable to look at. This one is a little less acceptable
Bala UnccNov 14, 2012 Nowadays almost all BMWs look the same
Colby ChurchNov 13, 2012 I don't think the front is that bad. The headlights are actually pretty neat.
Bren BrackenNov 13, 2012 I feel ya Daniel, I'm not liking the new 3 series front, the rear on the other hand I love. It looks like the 5 which I think is beautiful. But I have to say merc nation on this one
Daniel Alexander SoutarNov 13, 2012 Not a fan I'm afraid. I detest BMW's design language these days, so it's a quaint old Merc for me.
That would be the SLS AMG Black, then. A C63/E63/CLS63 AMG if I need four doors...
