Andrei TungolMay 16, 2013 Since Mitsubishi has a weak sales in the US. The Sales of Mitsubishi in the Philippines is stronger than the US.
Oscar ChaconJan 16, 2013 @Brandon. I've seen a good amount of Mustangs on the side of the road, new models included. So I guess they are POS as well.
Brian JohnstonNov 13, 2012 Brandon for a DD sometimes it's more intelligent to buy a 4 door car that you can drive in the snow than a rear wheel two door.
Erich EngelNov 11, 2012 hopefully they get the hell outta here
Brandon ManworrenNov 11, 2012 35K for a POS or 35K for a Mustang V8? Yeaa if ur a rice rocket lover I guess I know which you'd choose.
Jason BrownNov 11, 2012 Mitsubishi is just putting there resources in their other divisions. They gave up the heavy industry and steel in the US. Now focusing more in Financial. Still the largest conglomerate in Japan and will be for a while.
Tyler EvansNov 11, 2012 Atleast they should take a few models away, keep the evo in the U.S.!
Aaron CordrochNov 11, 2012 I got a wrx over the evo cause I asked if I would buy any other Mitsubishi?.. They're trash. Subarus are on the road with 200k miles. Evo is decent but they make shit otherwise
Matt PiccoloNov 11, 2012 I don't see how the price is wrong? For 35k, I think it's a great car!
Frederick PerezNov 10, 2012 In Asia Mitsubishi sells like a hot pancakes, here in U.S.. blah
Brian JohnstonNov 10, 2012 The evo is awesome. But the price is wrong.
Aaron CrispNov 10, 2012 '99 3000GT VR4 is the sexiest thing, don't know how anyone can dislike that.
Cody JohnstonNov 10, 2012 the Evo looks like it got rear-endedand all the other models are unappealling. I really dislike Mitsu now that I think about it.
Serge PankratovNov 10, 2012 I will only miss the Evo. Nothing else that Mitsu made ever appealed to me.
Suzuki bikes are great though :) love my 07 Gixxer 750!
Stephen Tyler LearnNov 10, 2012 I dont like the evo either. The newest generation is ugly and the car cost 40 grand so it has some serious competition in its price range
Stephen Tyler LearnNov 10, 2012 @swarun Suzuki stated that only the automotive part is leaving. All motorcycle atv and boat production will stay just the way it is
Dave LarbyNov 10, 2012 I like the Evo, but it's a bit flawed.. Interior needs work and the GSR desperately needs a 6th gear.
Plus they could do with bringing the FQ models stateside too.
Their after sales service could do with an overhaul too.
William DownsNov 10, 2012 This shouldn't even be to big of a surprise, there cars aren't to reliable, there not on the cheap side either, plus they have no recall performing or good looking cars besides the evo, and 1 car isn't enough to save a brand, Mitsubishi gave up on the auto industry plain and simple.. had a good run but only the strong survive, and Mitsubishi ain't one of them
Alex SemaanNov 10, 2012 In my opinion, i definitely think Mazda is up there.
Jack HowardNov 10, 2012 Well, to sell more, they need to broaden their horizon. My mom got the new Impreza Sport, and its great
Jack HowardNov 10, 2012 AND SUBARU! BUt there is no way Subaru would leave at this point
Nick StiNov 10, 2012 Subaru is on the smaller side, but Toyota owns 20% of the company. Subaru did very well, even in the recession. Sadly, their newer cars are getting more and more like Toyotas.. Except for the WRX and turbo Foresters
Willy Wu JyeJan 27, 2013 Evo is the light reason fans keep buying from Mitsubishi. Hope they will change the design though because they are late late late
Willy Wu JyeJan 27, 2013 I have owned an Evo X for 4 years since 2008, and worked my way up to 500whp with it. The car is great, but if you already have experience with turbo cars, mitsubishi is offering the first step with the evo. Sure it handles great but that is all Mitsubishi is offering with evos. Except if you have money to invest, The little 2.0L really is the limit. For 35k there are some great competition out th...
Maritsa ZarateNov 16, 2012 The evo is insane 1 of my favorite cars, it will kill almost any car in the street
Erich EngelNov 11, 2012 how about weed you havin a good time over there in colorado?
Terrance ParkerNov 11, 2012 I see quite a few in Colorado they get a workout with these twisty mountain roads!!
Byakka HirakawaNov 11, 2012 Yea the evos around lower ohio r in the mid 30k
Colby ChurchNov 11, 2012 I can concur with Shelby. I went and looked at new Evos before I purchased my Corvette, and there weren't any on the lot under $40k. They're nice cars for what they are, just overpriced immensely. I scared the guy at Carmax in one of these also. :)
Shelby CassandraNov 11, 2012 @Matt. Not many people drive Mitsubishis in East Lansing. I see a lot of rich college kids cars though. But again, people have no need for track cars here. They'd rather do a hardcore burnout in front of campus security any day of the week.
Matt PiccoloNov 11, 2012 @ Shelby, the dealer near me has one for 31k, 35k and 38k...The dealer near you must SUCK, lol
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 Are posting prices at other dealers ranging from MSRP to 32-33k.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 Price is also very dependent on the dealer and area. When I ordered my BRZ payed MSRP of 28k with my options. That means I was out the door with less then 29k; however, people in the FT86 forum
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 I agree with Dan. Iv never seen an Evo close to that around here in Dover.
Daniel EadsNov 10, 2012 Auto trader and other websites like that. My point is that every car gets marked up, there's taxes on every car and its different for every location. So when comparing cars for the price, use the MSRP. It's what it's for!
Shelby CassandraNov 10, 2012 It isn't markup "crap". People go by markup because it is absolutely there. The closest Mitsubishi dealer to me has one for 46k BEFORE tax. The cheaper one they have is 41k and it has no options. Tell me again how you found one.
Daniel EadsNov 10, 2012 I've about had enough of this mark up crap. I just looked online, 2013 Evo 32k. That's before the tax but you pay taxes ON EVERY CAR. This thing will murder almost everything on the track so it's a very good deal if you just want speed.
David GuerreroNov 10, 2012 Its not a sports car. Sports car have 2 doors. This is something else. Something beautiful.
Shelby CassandraNov 10, 2012 Yes. Technically it starts at 35. Add dealer markup and tax it is at least 40k. If you get it fully loaded it probably costs much more than that still.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 The point of this car is NOT the interior, but I would expect a better fit and finish.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 I think the "base" Evo starts at 33-35 range. I think that is decent. But I wouldn't pay 40 for lighter wheels and a flappy paddle, twin clutch bullshit.
Shelby CassandraNov 10, 2012 Didn't exactly mean that it wasn't impressive, but for the 40k starting price it should definitely be much more than it is. There is no denying that the price is insane for what you get.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 (6cly eclipse included) the only exception being the GSX.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 If it was a wanna be sports car it would have 2 doors, n/a 4cly, and fwd. Oh, kind of like the late eclipse -- exactly like the late eclipse.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 And though I'm a Subaru fan and dislike Mitsubishis immensely, the Evo has always talked the talk and walked the walk -- plus some.
Michael MontefuscoNov 10, 2012 Wanna be sports car? This car was born from rallying...
Aaron CrispNov 10, 2012 @Swarun I own one and I'd like them to stay. But only is they update there line up and come out with more sport models.
Antonio FalsettiNov 10, 2012 These cars are unique because of their awd. Nobody else makes an awd sport compact except Subaru. I hope they stay.
Matt PiccoloNov 10, 2012 I would REALLY miss these if Mitsubishi left
Shelby CassandraNov 10, 2012 Always looked nice, but it is kind of a wannabe sports car if kept at stock.
Justin TuckerNov 10, 2012 If Mitsubishi leaves the US and we don't get any more evils and possibly new sports cars....I'll just stop living
Stephen CobbsNov 10, 2012 They can put whatever wheels they want, I just want them to stay in the US.
Kyle McCulloughNov 10, 2012 As great as this car is, it would benefit immensely from different wheels

William DownsNov 11, 2012 One car can't save this brand, they need a complete overhaul, even as it stand its a rarity I see any new Mitsubishi, usually an eclipse once in a while I'll see a lancer or evo, they killed them selves sadly.
Colby ChurchNov 11, 2012 They could have a base with a turbo 4 producing around 280hp and a V6 with 320 or so. And it needs to be aggressive and competitively priced, and abra cadabra, you have a nice looking, profitable car that would put Mitsubishi back in the spotlight.
Colby ChurchNov 11, 2012 I agree with Aaron completely. Mitsubishi is doing horrible because their cars are boring, and unattractive. They are so opposed to sports cars that it makes them so dull in today's market. They need to develop a new Eclipse that is RWD.
Aaron CrispNov 10, 2012 Come out with a new 2 door RWD coupe then Mitsu!!!!!
David JusticeNov 10, 2012 Damn that misleading headline. Carbuzz, you are good at that!
Matt PiccoloNov 10, 2012 GOOD!!! Don't leave lol!!

Luis Daniel AngilelloNov 11, 2012 Mitsubshi beeds to bring back the Montero/Pajero back to the US, that's their flagship (SUV). It would definitely sale and compete strongly with the Toyota 4runner.
Aaron CrispNov 10, 2012 A new 3K VR4 (priced right) would save this companies ass! I love my VR4!
Mark Fei LingNov 10, 2012 BTW, anyone see the new outlander? That car suks!
Mark Fei LingNov 10, 2012 Yeah!!! Bring back the 3000GT VR4!!!
Al TunguponNov 22, 2012 Dear Lottery,
I've been a good friend to you. You know who should be driving the Super Veyron, I know you do. It shouldn't be so hard copying the numbers I'm about to put down, right?
Sincerely,
Al
William DownsNov 11, 2012 Just Google eclipse ralliart concept if u don't know
William DownsNov 11, 2012 @Colby... what's funny Bout that statement is Mitsubishi made a 4wd model of this car, shit looked great but like u said, instead of giving people a different option for performance other then the evolved, they didn't build it and now look what's happning
Colby ChurchNov 11, 2012 Picture this: This exact car, 19 inch glossy 10 spoke wheels, lowered one and a half inches, black halo headlights, dark carbon fiber hood, black tail lights, black spoiler and deck lid, tinted windows, and a lip on the bottom of the front bumper. :)
Colby ChurchNov 11, 2012 overshadow the Lancer Evo because that is their flagship car. Same reason Chevrolet dialed back the Camaro ZL1, so that it would not get the same attention as the flagship ZR1.
Colby ChurchNov 11, 2012 I'd rather build the V6 in this. This car goes 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and it's fwd. the Evo engine doesn't really produce as much power, it's faster because of the AWD. Mitsubishi is stupid for not making an AWD eclipse, but they didn't want it to
Since Mitsubishi has a weak sales in the US. The Sales of Mitsubishi in the Philippines is stronger than the US.
Not the EVO!!!!!!!

C'mon Cody you like the Evo stop fronting
i wish they would leave, I'm tired of looking at their ugly junk.
Hell yeah Mazda. But I could care less about Suzuki. I just want Mitsubishi to stay the Evo X is awesome.
I hope suzukis motorcycle division doesn't leave the US!! I want a GSXR as my next bike!
That will be a sad day!!
