Volkswagen Golf VII by ABT

ABT Sportsline is the first to reveal an upgrade program for the upcoming seventh-gen Golf.

While dealerships await the arrival of the seventh-gen Volkswagen Golf, German tuning outfit ABT has started work on a performance upgrade program. Five power boosts have been readied for the new Golf, and ABT has also created a new front spoiler, front grille, mirror caps, side skirts and headlight covers for those that immediately want to change their new hatchback upon delivery. A new apron, quad exhaust, suspension kit and various 18- and 19-inch alloys are also among the goodies on offer.

Prices for the upgrades have yet to be released, although the power upgrades have. The 1.2 TFSI jumps from 86 to 105 horsepower, the 1.4 TFSI increases from 140 hp to 165, the 1.6 TDI goes from 105 to 125 hp, the 2.0-liter TDI is bumped from 150 to 180 hp, and the 2.0 TDI variant has been upped to 210 hp from 184.
