Fisker Wraps the Karma for SEMA

Four colorful Karmas will be on display in Las Vegas later this month.

The Fisker Karma may not be the first vehicle you think of when gearing up for the SEMA show, but Fisker is keen on tapping into the aftermarket scene, so it's bringing a quartet of its luxury hybrids to the Vegas expo next week with fresh wraps to make them stand out even more. Developed in conjunction with 3M, the Diamond Protection Film isn't just for show: it's also said to protect the Karma from nicks and scratches that accumulate during normal driving, thereby protecting the $100,000 hybrid's curvaceous bodywork.

Four Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 schemes will be on display for the Fisker Karma in Nevada. These include the "October Sun" style consisting of gloss burnt orange and brushed black metallic, a matte white and gloss blue metallic racing theme called the "Riverside" package, a "Classic" hot rod red and gloss black number and the "Onward" package, comprising of satin black and gloss burnt orange (an inverse of the October Sun scheme). If the wraps aren't enough for the most cautious of Karma drivers, the models will also be presented with 3M's Crystalline Automotive Film applied to protect the windows as well.
