This is such a sexy car. It's too bad it isn't lighter and more powerful. Mabey it could keep up with the 'stang and the camaro
no man. the v8 can get better mpg actually. the 5.7 has cylinder displacement so it cuts it down to 4 cyl when your not stomping on it. the most I've got out of my rt is 32mpg on the highway which is a lot higher then advertised.
Possible, I'm still looking though but part of me wants a v6 cause it's decent on gas... V8 chugs a lot...
why buy new when you can buy new to you? I'm sure you could at least find a used r/t for around 20k.

I highly doubt you "destroyed" a srt8 with "ease" with your standard vett. Even if that was true, I can guaranty that the challenger had ALOT better ride home then you did

It's still a sports car... People don't usually buy challengers to break speed records, I mean they weigh over 4000 pounds. I'll still take a challenger over a vette because they look awesome.
Corvettes are $50k. They only get more expensive with higher models like the new convertible 427, z06 and zr1. Those are a lot more powerful than a standard coupe or convertible.

SRT8 Challengers are "fast" cars, but not "monstrously fast". I destroyed a 392 in my Corvette with ease. And the funny thing is that the people that drive these actually think they stand a chance when they get behind me. Comical.
