Description: There's little question that the Dodge Challenger - especially in SRT8 trim with the 392 Hemi under hood - is a monstrously fast car. But is it faster than a helicopter? It's a question few ...Add Comments8
Jerry TownsendOct 17, 2012 Yes, I vote for the Challenger too.....it's just too sexy.
Aaron CrispOct 17, 2012 And who wins in the looks department? Challenger... All. Day. Long.
Justin BrestOct 17, 2012 I highly doubt you "destroyed" a srt8 with "ease" with your standard vett. Even if that was true, I can guaranty that the challenger had ALOT better ride home then you did
Conrad ReevesOct 17, 2012 It's still a sports car... People don't usually buy challengers to break speed records, I mean they weigh over 4000 pounds. I'll still take a challenger over a vette because they look awesome.
Jimmy BartolottaOct 17, 2012 Corvettes are $50k. They only get more expensive with higher models like the new convertible 427, z06 and zr1. Those are a lot more powerful than a standard coupe or convertible.
Conrad ReevesOct 17, 2012 Oh really? That's surprising. An 80k sports car beating a 45k muscle car? You must be so proud.
Colby ChurchOct 17, 2012 SRT8 Challengers are "fast" cars, but not "monstrously fast". I destroyed a 392 in my Corvette with ease. And the funny thing is that the people that drive these actually think they stand a chance when they get behind me. Comical.

Kevin WatsonOct 18, 2012 Pure helicopter skills. Wow!
Scott LenahanOct 18, 2012 That pilot is GOOD. Well done my friend.
Matthew CrightonOct 21, 2012 This is such a sexy car. It's too bad it isn't lighter and more powerful. Mabey it could keep up with the 'stang and the camaro
Adam MunozOct 20, 2012 And no one comments on how badass the chally looks
Justin BrestOct 19, 2012 no man. the v8 can get better mpg actually. the 5.7 has cylinder displacement so it cuts it down to 4 cyl when your not stomping on it. the most I've got out of my rt is 32mpg on the highway which is a lot higher then advertised.
Author Norman R. ColsonOct 18, 2012 Possible, I'm still looking though but part of me wants a v6 cause it's decent on gas... V8 chugs a lot...
Justin BrestOct 18, 2012 why buy new when you can buy new to you? I'm sure you could at least find a used r/t for around 20k.
