BMW 1 Series Coupe Gets M5's V10

For 20,000 Euros you can transform a 1 Series into a baby-M with 550 horsepower.
BMW only built 2,700 units of the 1 Series M Coupe, and as the hot coupe sold like hot cakes, replicas like this by TJ Fahrzeugdesign were bound to crop up.

Based on the 1 Series, the replica baby-M comes with wider bumpers, bigger fenders and a retuned 5.0-liter V10 taken from the previous M5. The stock unit developed 507 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, but this particular engine manages an additional 43 hp and could only be fitted by shortening the driveshaft.

Next, the German tuner lifted the M5's SMG automated-manual gearbox and borrowed the brakes from the X6 M. KW was used for the suspension, and completing the project is a set of 20-inch alloys. So far tests have shown the ten-cylinder 1M coupe replica to be capable of a 4.2-second 0-62 mph sprint time and a top speed of 202 mph. Interested parties will have to shell out 20,000 Euros for the upgrade program and wait 350 hours for it to be completed.
