I only wish that Acura would revise their whole lineup. It went south. I drive a 3rd gen TL & when '12 TLs pull up next to me … I wanna crack the "don't you feel stupid" smile.
While I think it's attractive, it already looks dated as a concept. The Audi R8 came out 5 years ago.
The original NSX was far from flawed. 280 hp and hitting 0-60 in 5.5 or less is damn decent. And for the time it was a beaut and still is. More like extremely well rounded
There's such a thing as absolute speed though. Aerodynamics will probably never allow a street legal car to make it to 300 mph.
I love the old NSX. Little bit of tuning and a couple upgrades and that car kicked ass
Acura will produce another underpowered NSX. Watch how they mess this up again. All show no go.

They wouldn't buy them off the showroom floor, but begged to build a replacement. Why, to hang a poster somewhere? It was a sales flop. Don't build it unless it is absolutely world class; quality, design AND performance. Or history will repeat itself

I read they were going to start building it in three years. That means it will be in showrooms in more like five years at the earliest if that's true.

I dont have doubts that this will be a decent super car. but for a tuner fanatic, calling this an NSX is sort of offensive.
If we didn't have hybrid systems we wouldn't have sports cars in ten years. Period stop complaining people
This car in no way resembles the NSX. The NSX is a simple, light, RWD, tuner/track car. This car is none of those, this car desperately needs a totally different name.
Never said it was a failure, it's just not my preference to have a car gain more weight over each generation. The SLR McLaren was a porker but I think it performs very well with the weight it has to haul around.
It's called evolution. Car manufacturers are trying to make sports cars more fuel efficient so that they can actually exist. Don't knock the hybrid systems if they actually work and give good performance numbers while increasing fuel economy.
Weight doesn't always = fail Kevin, there are lots of examples of heavy cars that did well. Whether it be top speed or on the track.

Also for u people complaining the 300k lfa, go look at the price of lambos and ferraris, they are 250k and up.
Im expecting this car to be in the 100k range if its a SC, but i also think it could be up to 200k to compete with lambo ferrari and mclaren.
It's funny that I have not seen anything written about where this car slots in the Lexus lineup. I thought the LFA was cool but not for 300k. #Fail. What is the expected price point? SC?
Would change Lexus's reputation forever. They were bold enough to build the LFA (egotistical indulgence by chairman of Toyota "because we can" but obtainable by few). Could be considered rightful successor the the heritage brought forth by the Supra.
I know that the mirrors will have to be bigger if this reaches production, but I really hope they keep those side intakes.

Lincoln needs to ditch the MK crap. Alphabet soup nomenclature is god-awful like the rest of their lineup. They also need a new design language that kinda hearkens back to their 60s models. Oh, and a Mark IX flagship on a Panther platform replacement.
Lincoln bring back the old name plates. Also, you need to go back to your hay days and bring that brand back to market. I think the interiors are the best around;however, the big waterfall grills and small headlights don't cut it. Lincoln, pilfer from your euro division. I'm sure you can do some badge engineering.
Ford put a billion + dollars in their Lincoln line up to make them better, I can wait to see what Lincoln is going to have soon! And I think this is a pretty good looking car considering older Lincoln's. Stepping up.

A 98 new beetle with a 5 spd was my first car. It was a really great car; great gas mileage, pretty good handling, and enough pickup for a 16 year old to be happy. The only bad thing about it was the fact that it used to be a girls car, not anymore..
