Ferrari EGO Concept Study for 2025

The Ferrari EGO concept is excellent in most respects.

Italian art schools have been known to dabble in the field of automotive concept design from time to time. A new concept study conducted by the Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD) focused on the development of a new Ferrari for the year 2025. IAAD graduates Massimiliano Petrachi, Vincenzo Morlino and Salvatore Simonetti collaborated with fellow art school grad Luca Zunino from Politencnico di Milano to produce the Ferrari Emotional Generation One (EGO).

The Ferrari EGO was designed for extreme performance and something called "strong emotional content," whatever that is. The Ferrari concept draws inspiration from previous Italian supercars, like the P3 and P4/5. It features the usual aerodynamic elements, such as front wings, air intakes and a rear spoiler. Real conceptual elements are found throughout the EGO, with a fighter plane inspired 'cockpit,' an aluminum tubular chassis, LED taillights, a wraparound windscreen and several parts of exposed carbon fiber. Exhaust gas is also used to increase downforce and improve performance.
