Spied: Next Generation BMW M3 Sedan

Our spy photographers have caught the next-gen BMW M3 Sedan running by some cornfields.

The new BMW M3 Sedan has been spotted running next to the cornfields by our spy photographers. The M3 Sedan is BMW's first scheduled next generation M3 model to hit showrooms. In other words, the coupe will arrive sometime afterwards. The M3 prototype seen in these photos is sporting wider fenders and bigger air intakes than the previous generation M3. We can also see some big brakes and quad exhaust pipes, both typical of the M-Series.

Power is rumored to come from a turbocharged 6-cylinder engine. In addition to the probable powerplant, speculation is abound that the new M3 could also be equipped with two or three total turbochargers. Expected to drop in summer 2013, the sedan will be followed by the coupe version later that year. The coupe should be named M4 since the new 3-Series based coupes and convertibles are being rumored to receive the 4-Series name.
