500hp on a fwd platform. Pretty useless if you ask me. I also wonder how much of the motor will remain oem. 500hp needs a lot of supporting mods.
Kyle Bohne Sep 19, 2011
have u guys not seen the k20 integra with 900 HP or the k20 hatch with 1200 HP? 500hp is easy now on hondas
Jonathan Fowler Sep 18, 2011
Anything can be done as long as you have the cash to pay for it. Sadly, that is why my car is still stock.
Andrew Grimm Sep 18, 2011
IEasier said than done bro
Michael Ioia Sep 18, 2011
500 on a 4 banger is easy with boost ... Look at all the Scubies and Evos.
Michael Davidson Sep 18, 2011
Yeah, it's a turbo 4 cylinder, so that's pretty good
Andrew Grimm Sep 18, 2011
But Shane, you gotta realize, it's a honduhhhh CIVIC! 500HP out of a four banger? That's pretty impressive
Shane Carroll Sep 18, 2011
Not really. 500 hp is no big deal, hell we got daily drivers around here with that much
Vincent Butler Sep 18, 2011
Damn that's pretty impressive.
Phillip Greene Sep 18, 2011
Ha ha right I dout it will have that much
Shane Carroll Sep 18, 2011
Can you say torque steer
Jorge Martins Sep 18, 2011
500hp not that bad. A buddy of mine had a 92 civic hatchback with 820hp. It's a civic, how much can you really get out of them.
Description: In other words, the aftermarket specialists have given the Civic coupe a touch of what goes into a supercar that should make for a very impressive debut. SEMA will kick off from November 1st to 4th in...

I'm going to be in Vegas during that time! I wish it was open to the public.
hondacivicdeaf2009 Dec 10, 2011
i wish fast of the furious 6 honda civic be trying on movie crazy stock engine and strobe light green. and black car honda knight.
Michael Beach Sep 19, 2011
I wonder what they did to the k24?
Edgar Reyes Sep 19, 2011
500hp with some Vossen CV3s, nice!
Bilal Saeed Sep 18, 2011
Is that a side skirt?
Danny Scott Sep 18, 2011
I wouldn't say "stock"... Lol buy yeah the engine block might be the one from factory
Andrew Grimm Sep 18, 2011
It probably has the stock Si engine still in it. Not sure of what the engine name is, but you understand haha
Kenneth Williams Sep 18, 2011
And then they show the rest of the car. -_-
Jorge Martins Sep 18, 2011
I wonder what K engine it has.
No Pistons Sep 18, 2011
Ya my stock rotors on my 8 are a little bigger from the looks of it lol
Patrick Schalk Sep 18, 2011
Haha those are pretty small
Brad Henson Sep 18, 2011
Now that's a brake rotor
Andrew Grimm Sep 18, 2011
Even if you do swap an S2000 engine in there, you still have to do a ton of stuff to the drivetrain
Kevin Rehbock Sep 18, 2011
They should have customized an S2000 to begin with.
Jorge Martins Sep 18, 2011
Or just swap a S2000 engine in there lol
Quinn Shannon Sep 18, 2011
Love the red brake caliper
Andrew Grimm Sep 18, 2011
Yea it's a PITA to do that stuff. Unless you want to go cheap and put the. Engine in the back
Sebastian Grey Sep 18, 2011
I hope they converted it to RWD.
Payne Hodges Wilson Sep 19, 2011
Shane you are partially correct in saying lighter wheels dont do that much more for speed however if you have lighter wheels an lighter body panels etc. then the weight adds up and you can actually get some more speed out of the car
Edgar Reyes Sep 19, 2011
Being that those are Vossen wheels, they are heavy as Fack.
Andrew Grimm Sep 19, 2011
Yea I don't like the stretched tire look
Ken Madison Sep 18, 2011
I guess no one gets the joke anymore.
Heath Spence Sep 18, 2011
Stretch and poke fitment? Gay.
Shane Carroll Sep 18, 2011
@Micheal its not near enough weight to make a noticable difference, you might as well just take a giant dump before you get in
Bilal Saeed Sep 18, 2011
Tiny brakes in a rim that big........ It does not work!
Michael Gallagher Sep 18, 2011
Wheels and rims don't add hp.. But! Wheels can add more grip or less grip and rims can help lose weight. Have lighter rims, can go faster
Patrick Schalk Sep 18, 2011
Those wheels look terrible.
Andrew Grimm Sep 18, 2011
An he needs a bigger exhaust. Louder sound=more power!
Jason Hsu Sep 18, 2011
Sticker distract/scare other drivers, therefore -5hp for the opposing driver, lol!
Sebastian Grey Sep 18, 2011
That i-vtec sticker ands 5 horse power I believe.
Daniel Gil Sep 18, 2011
WTF since when do wheels ad HP!!?
Ken Madison Sep 18, 2011
These are legitimate wheels, they don't add any HP :(
Jeff Bayura Sep 18, 2011
Those rims are wider than the stock wheel and rim together
Hamza Hamid Sep 18, 2011
I think I need Ken!! What's the difference between wheels and rims again??
Jonathan Fowler Sep 18, 2011
Is this the end result of overboosting an I-4 to 500hp? If not now, it will be.
Patrick Schalk Sep 18, 2011
Is there an echo in here?
Shane Carroll Sep 18, 2011
That Cummins could be pushing twice the power easy
Chris Trotter Sep 18, 2011
Those wheels in the back look stock..my guess is that they are leaving them on for transport so then the new tires/rims will still look pretty at sema
Michael Palazzo Sep 18, 2011
or maybe they're drag radials on the front.
Jimmy Jose Lopez Sep 18, 2011
It's a show car, it's probably not gna get much road time anyway haha
Nick Mitchell Sep 18, 2011
It's probably so the new tire is not worn during transport, when they arrive they should change them out (I hope)
Andy Kleschick Sep 18, 2011
That looks stupid. Why would u have two different types of wheels?
