Official: Fiat Doblo Making its Way to the States in 2013 Dressed as a Ram

The Ram Doblo should be making it's way to the States by early 2013.

On September 2nd we brought you a breaking story on what probably could end up being the smallest Ram ever in the U.S., the tiny 'International Van of the Year' Fiat Doblo Work-Up. Well as it turns out, Fiat's subsidiary Ram is going to bring the mini-truck to the States after all, being rebranded the Ram Doblo. The 2011 Ram Doblo will be developed and built in Turkey. It will most likely make its way across the pond in the form of a work van and be a product of Fiat and Turkish Koc Group's joint venture project.

The deal runs for 7 years and calls for just short of 200,000 units of the new vans to be imported to North America. They will hit dealerships by 2013.
