The First Ram Van Rolls Off the Line

The Ram Cargo Van has just rolled off the line in the Great White North.

Ram has just announced the first production model of their 2012 Ram Cargo Van has left the assembly line. The van came out of Chrysler Group LLC's Windsor, Ontario, Canada assembly plant. The Cargo van sits in the Class 1 commercial vehicle category and leads in both cargo payload and towing capacity. The new Ram Van is using over 25 years of Chrysler's minivan engineering combined with Ram's trademark power and strength for applications in both large and small businesses.

Best-in-class cargo payload is measured at 1,800lbs and 3,600lbs towing capacity mean this is one tough van. A heavy-duty suspension helps offer maximum towing capacity. The cargo van even boasts a best-in-class fuel range of 25mpg on the highway from its 20-gallon fuel tank.
