Abarth Bringing Three Fiats to Frankfurt

Abarth is looking to make a big splash at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show with three of their latest editions.

Abarth is bringing three of their new Fiats to Germany next month for their debut at the premier Bavarian event. The Italian racing car maker has revealed some photos today of their 695 Competizione, Punto SuperSport and Cabrio Italia. They are looking as good (and silver) as ever. Abarth is keeping the technical details close to their vest, as they don't want to show their full hand before the two new aftermarket program's debuts. The photos released show great exterior shots and a few good clips of the interiors.

The Punto SuperSport features a nice body kit and slick wheels with a bespoke vinyl décor on the new Abarth racing seats. It seats four, with the back seat left in. The 695 Competizione is obviously built more for racing, with a roll seat delete and a roll cage. 180hp is expected out of the tuned standard engine, with Tribute brakes to help control the sped-up Fiat. Bespoke 695 Competizione racing seats have been added by the Scorpion brand and they look as good as ever. Abarth used Alcantara and carbon fiber to finish the roof and dashboard, respectively.

The Cabrio Italia is the most decked out of all, as the Fiat 500 has been marked for the 150th anniversary of Italian unity. It features a custom body kit finished in a fresh Blu Abu Dhabi exterior color and sits on a set of 17-inch wheels. It features a 1.4-liter Turbo T-Jet engine with an output of 160 HP and torque of 170lb-ft in its Sport mode. The Cabrio Italia can sprint from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds. The Punto SuperSport, Cabrio Italia and 695 Competizione will debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show in September. Prices are expected to stay below €30,000.
