Toyota Prius+ Revealed Ahead Of Frankfurt

Toyota gives us a glimpse of the new seven-passenger Prius+ MPV.

The new hybrid MPV which Toyota has been talking about for some time will make its official debut in Frankfurt in a couple of weeks, but Toyota has given us some information ahead of that debut. The Prius+ will have three rows of seats, allowing it to accommodate up to seven passengers. The wheelbase has been stretched by 80mm and overall length by 155mm. The Prius+ is also 30mm wider, all to make room from for the extra passengers.

The Prius+ pretty much looks like the regular Prius, with an emphasis on aerodynamics rather than aesthetic appeal. The extra length is apparent though, and the back end is noticeably different as well. The Prius+ should go on sale early next year.
