2013 Infiniti JX Crossover Uncovered at Pebble Beach

The 2013 Infiniti JX luxury crossover just made its debut at Pebble Beach in Monterey.

After weeks of teasing photos and partial glimpses, Infiniti has finally revealed their 2013 JX Crossover in Monterey. The seven-seater concept model looked great at Pebble Beach as we took our first looks at the luxury automaker's newest concept. The new crossover features three rows of seats with class-leading interior space. The middle row of seats are dynamic, allowing passengers to slide them forwards and backwards and recline them at their own leisure.

"With the JX, you will even be able to leave a child seat latched to the 2nd row while getting in or out of the 3rd row - just one example of the vehicle's inspired flexibility and versatility. The 3rd row isn't the typical penalty box either, with adult-sized room for all occupants and five-and-a-half inches of 2nd row forward-back adjustability," said Infiniti Americas VP Ben Poore. The JX sits on Infiniti's 'Inspired Performance' line, meaning that its V6 mates with a CVT for decent performance along with many accoutrements designed for safety and comfort. The JX features either front-wheel or all-wheel-drive.

Infiniti has given their luxury crossover Blind Spot Intervention and Backup Collision Intervention features which automatically activate the brakes in case of a possible collision. The JX debuted last night in concept form at Pebble Beach in Monterey, California. The production version will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
