Fornasari RR99 Crossover with Confused Identity

Fornasari's latest luxury crossover officially goes on sale. Some BMW, Aston-Martin, Jaguar, and Lamborghini fans may find its looks confusing.

It seems as if taking your favorite parts from different cars and forging them together has become a big fad amongst smaller car manufacturers. Some of you may remember the Predator Xtreme and what a catastrophe that was. Well, Fornasari's RR99 shares a similar outcome as a crossover with a confused identity. Referred to as a luxury crossover, the RR99 combines the stacked exhaust tips found on the Lexus IS F and Lamborghini Murcielago taillights.

The crossover also features a Jaguar XK bumper, Aston Martin front-end and the blended concoction is tied together with a BMW body. The RR99 is powered by a 6.0-liter V8 engine sourced from GM. It can put out a nice 610hp and can sprint from 0-60mph in a quick 3.8 seconds. The luxury crossover's top speed is measured at 174mph in spite of a total 4,000lbs. curb weight. The Fornasari RR99 debuted at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show last March and is already available for order. No offiical pricing has been announced.
