Patrick, GM already said the base model will have the 5.5L from the C6R. Detuned ofcourse! Something like 450 HP.

@Chris Everyone has made claims. I always say BS until they do it. Hennessey 1st said the Venom GT would do 262mph. Then the Veyron SS came out and they said the Venom would do over 270mph. Sure...

More like affordable sports car Sam. The regular Corvette is no supercar. Only the ZR1 is a supercar, and it's more expensive than a ACR.

Your right. The 2012 ZR1 set a 7:19, only car ahead of it is the GT2 rsr. If some car is going to knock off the ZR1, I hope it's the ACR V

I would say super muscle rather than super exotic since it's front engine rather than the more rare mid engine. Exotic would be saleen S7 or SSC. Still a super car

It probably won't live up but hopefully I'm wrong. It's is probably going to be controlled and going to have less-power or smaller engine because of emission and all the "green freaks". Hopefully not

For now the 2012 ZR1 holds the record at the ring. It wont keep it long though. Just until the new Viper takes it back again. Look at the last Gen Viper's stats and records it set, it's a supercar no doubt about it.

Well it'll be safe power-wise, that V10 has so much potential left in it. I was reading somewhere if it was fitted with direct injection power would be in the 700's

It won't off the production line. The new vipers are most likely gonna be forced to have more controlled power, but the same power hopefully.
