Happy 35th Birthday Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta celebrates its 35th birthday with a styling update. Since launching in 1976, some 15 million units of the model have been sold.
In honor of their little hatchback's 35th birthday, Ford has thrown a party to mark the occasion as well as to celebrate a total of 15 million units having been built since its launch. It was back in 1976 when Ford debuted the first Fiesta and has since enjoyed international success, primarily in Europe. Ford has also given the latest Fiesta a facelift to keep it fresh and up to date in the competitive market. There are now two new exterior colors consisting of Mars Red and Fashionista.

The Fiesta Sport and Titanium still have the same updates, while the recently unveiled Fiesta Sport Special Edition adds a gloss black interior detailing the silver exterior elements, leather seats and 15-inch black alloy wheels. Some other features include a new chrome strip for the upper front grille, Sony audio systems equipped with Diversity Antenna and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. With 35 years behind it, the Fiesta doesn't show any signs of slowing down. In fact, demand for the current generation is so high that a million units have been built so far since it debuted 28 months ago.
