I'm with Patrick. I've heard the ACR and ZR1, the ZR1 sounds better at idle and say, below 5000 RPMs. Over 5000 RPMs, the ACR has a nicer sound.
Yeah but when I see a ZR1 I immediately crap my pants and then throw my crap pants on the nearest Prius I can find. Viper and Vette are both amazing machines. I'm just glad they are both American.
I'd choose the viper over a vette. you see so many Vettes on the road. when you see one u look at it for what, about 3 seconds? but you see a viper pass by u look at it till u can't see it.
Vipers are a lot better than vettes. Not always performance wise but just style. Plus there are way too many corvettes out there
Damn. Tough choice. Now that the new ZR1 set a 7:19 around the ring I'd have to take the ZR1. But before that I would have taken the ACR.
I think the ACR is more exclusive and more of a head turner than the ZR1 but I love em both too!

the Viper ACR is 100% street legal, I know someone that drives his daily.
make it easy take the top viper vs the top vette, acr vs. zr1 that choice is obvious even though the viper isnt street legal
Prefer the Viper, myself. Since I live in Kentucky, you see Corvettes on the road as much as you do V6 Mustangs.

I would love to see that 300 wagon. Just like Chip Foose did on Overhaulin'. Always loved the Magnum but that front end of the 300 is just sweet!!!!
Well depends on my money situation. If I have tons of money I'll have a supercharged LS3, Corsa pace system exhaust, C6 Z06 brakes, ZR1 hypersilver wheels, ZR1 gears, hooker long tubes, cam/heads, badass fuel system, and some cosmetic stuff.
Make sure you get a 04, they are a good deal better than the other years of the C4. Any plans on how you are going to nod your C5? *I'm waiting to welcome you to the owners club
Yeah I get a Corvette parts magazine every month and circle the stuff I want for my Vette even though I don't have it yet haha. A millennium yellow C5 Z06 would be ideal. I'm gonna build my version of a C6 ZR1 with my C5 Z06. It's gonna be great.
That car will always hold a special place in my heart. Too bad some retard in his Celica was trying to race me and lost control and messed up the whole right side taking off. Ugh. I didn't even race. First day I was back home too that rotation.
I miss the flip up head lights. I remember when I got my 04 corvette.... In 04. I felt like a boss. First thing I did was swap the headers, throw on a 3 inch exhaust system without mufflers, and put on a ram air. I ran US42. Memories.
Yeah I honestly like the GTR a lot. But I don't like all the computers and stuff. I will have a C5 Z06 in a few years. I think they are one of the coolest cars ever. I love the way they look.
I didn't say anything about the GTR? I like the GTR but would take a Z06 over it every time.
What's wrong is the whole car is a big computer, and it still gets beaten by cars like the ACR and ZR1.

I drive a 2008 dodge magnum se, and I think they should bring the car back, I was looking to work for Dodge as a designer and that was Americas Station wagon, a force like no other, bring it back and amp up the dodge to compete with the corvette zo6
Yeah sometimes. Sometimes they don't know anything. Find a private seller. I've found some in and around Cali. Hell I traveled to Chicago to get my Camaro.
They know that the demand for the SRT is strong. (if we know it, they know it). I'm keeping an eye out for Vegas, since I'm only 3 hrs away. But my priority is to replace my old silverado.

Dealerships wanna mark up to 50k(OTD) for a used SRT8. Salesmen are shifty everywhere, but more so in California
35k is what's being advertised, but what I want to negotiate is 35k...out the door: cash.

I completely disagree with you Mike. You drove a RENTAL CAR! I had the same experience with a mustang GT, car was in terrible condition. My parents have a dodge magnum srt8. I used to drive it to school everyday, amazing car period wagon has balls

Yup, Patrick. Enterprise rentals got R/Ts here in CA. But Shane, I've also rented Malibus with higher mileage, and they drove much nicer. And believe me, I think Malibus are ugly, but they are comfy.

I've always expressed my distaste for these twin cars, but never explained my reasons until now. My rental experiences ruined my view on these cars.
I had bad experiences with the magnum and it's charger twin, from renting. They were both R/Ts. The throttle lagged and the steering was soupy. Rearvisibility was dangerously small.

I JUST said this the other day about the Magnum. It died before it's time. Wagons are back and Dodge would be wise to make a new one.
if they facelift it similarly to the new Charger and give it an SRT-8 than I'm sure they could make it really cool.
