Mopar's pickup truck kit for the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited truly is as cool as it sounds.

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has just received an awesome, fully custom kit. With Mopar's JK-8 Kit, you can transform your four-door jeep into a two-door pickup truck. The dealer can install it or you can choose to do it yourself. "Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited are some of our most accessorized vehicles. For Jeep Wrangler Unlimited owners, our new Mopar JK-8 kit answers the call for even more radical customization," said Pietro Gorlier, Mopar President and CEO.

As Chrysler Group LLC's service, parts and customer-care brand, Mopar has stepped up its game with a full service conversion kit. The JK-8 Kit comes with a steel bed, inner and outer bedsides, sport bar extensions, Freedom panel assemblies, fiberglass hardtop and bulkhead. Based on the Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 from the '80s, the JK-8 package first debuted at Moab Jeep Safari. For the full Jeep experience, the roof is even removable for a fully open top. A special badge adorns the kit, paying tribute to both the CJ-8 Scrambler and Jeep's J-8 military pickup.

Pricing for the Mopar JK-8 Kit is set at $5,499 and is available for ordering through Mopar at Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram dealerships.
