Hennessy has tuned the new CTS-V wagon turning it into a real beauty and beast. The wagon sports SpectraFlair paint giving it a unique look and contains a V8 that produces over 700hp.
Hennessey's Cadillac V700 Black Diamond Edition CTS-V is one bad wagon. Hennessey previously tuned out the Cadillac CTS-V Sport wagon's engine to an impressive 658hp and with the Black Diamond, Hennessey has definitely kicked things up a notch. Draped in a dark tri-coat of paint which includes SprectraFlair Bright Silver pigment, the paint actually gives the Black Diamond an aesthetically potent added dimension.
The SpectraFlair pigment uses aluminum flakes encapsulated in magnesium fluoride which gives the paint a diamond-like sparkle when light hits the surface from different angles. This special edition Cadillac boasts an output of 707hp due to a huge systems upgrade. A HPE Cold Air Induction System, upgraded intercooler heat exchanger, upgraded supercharger pulley, upgraded V700 camshaft, stainless steel long tube headers, high flow cylinder heads, high flow catalytic converters and added stainless steel mid-pipes to the Cadillac's 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine are some of the upgrades that give this wagon its power.
Its 19-inch wheels with yellow Brembo brake calipers help handle the Black Diamond's power. From their press release, Hennessey added that 'the V700 upgrade option includes optional exhaust dumps that are electrically-actuated to bypass the mufflers.' The performance of the Black Diamond is quite impressive for a wagon. It accelerates from 0-60mph in just 3.2 seconds and hits a top speed of 211mph. The interior of the Black Diamond features a special Midnight Sapele wood trim and a Recaro front seat option. The 2011 V700 Black Diamond Edition CTS-V is a special option released by Cadillac this year.
