AC Schnitzer has given its perspective to the MINI JCW. The package has been named the MINI Eagle and there is a long detailed list of mechanical upgrades provided by the German tuner. Some of the upgrades include a new turbocharger and intercooler, a lightweight ion battery, a new sports clutch with a limited slip differential and AC Schnitzer's Motronic program.
The Eagle has also received a new racing suspension, stainless-steel exhaust system with racing catalyst and a short shift transmission. Other features include a carbon fiber body kit with a carbon bonnet, carbon wings and doors, and anti-roll bars. 18-inch Mi2 Bicolor wheels round out the exterior upgrades. Under the hood, the Eagle produces 260hp, which is an increase of 49hp and 206 lb-ft of torque over the standard JCW. It can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.8 seconds, up from 6.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 155 mph, which is an increase of 7 mph over the JCW.
AC Schnitzer values the tuning upgrades at an insane €62,000 or $88,736. But don't get too excited because the new MINI JCW is not for sale.
