Never has an alliance between a supercar manufacturer and an Italian coach builder sounded as good as it did when Gumpert and Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera teamed up for the latest car in their lineup. Their creation, the Gumpert Tornante by Touring, premiered at the Geneva Motor Show to great fanfare. In its base configuration, it features a 690-hp biturbo V8 engine that is expected to let the car go well past 186 mph.

The vehicle was designed by Touring Superleggera and constructed by Gumpert, and together they managed to give the car plenty of extra interior space, something that was lacking in the Gumpert Apollo. Perhaps the only drawback about this magnificent car is the weight. With the extra 100mm in height, and 15 mm in length, the car weighs in heavier than the Apollo. That being said, Gumpert stresses that the car's final specs could change before production begins.
