The unveiling of Land Rover's new special edition vehicle at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show was a special moment for the fledging British automaker. It was announced later that with the official debut of the Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition, Land Rover is expected to finally break through the six-figure price barrier. With a price around £130,000 ($211,198), it's definitely going to cost a pretty penny.
The Autobiography was debuted with an announcement that it will be limited to just 500 units worldwide, for 20 markets, and produced to individual order. The engine we can expect for this special edition trim is either a 4.4-liter V8 diesel or a 5.0-liter Supercharged V8, both of which can be specified by the customer. The interior is completely revamped with fitted individual black seats, and a new center console design made of milled aluminum, leather and wood veneers. To round off the package, the Autobiography also received some unique 20-inch alloy wheels.
