We were excited to see the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG come to the Geneva Motor Show, but was dashed once it became apparent that Mercedes didn't made many changes. The engine has carried over unchanged from the previous year, so the same 451-hp 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 is still at work. One change was the fitting of AMG's 7-speed Speedshift MCT gearbox derived from the SL63 AMG.
Now for the new stuff on the 2012. The exterior sports a new front fascia with a redesigned lower apron, grille and daytime running lights. The headlamps invoke images of what we can see on the SL roadster. Inside, there's a new dashboard with LCD screen, a revised three-spoke steering wheel and a host of new technical features. The pictures here are of the not-for-U.S. Estate version that the automaker decided to debut the C63 AMG in.
