Just before the doors open for the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Tata Motors has confirmed that it will be present its three-door, four-seat concept car for all to see. Like all Tata creations, this will also be a micro vehicle that will be around 3 meters in length, but engineered to provide maximum space. There are rumors that this may be the vehicle Tata needs in order to get into the European market, but this isn't likely to happen before 2013, if it happens at all.
There are no details on how the micro draws its power, but a battery or a hybrid powertrain appear to be the proper choice for a car that's destined to hit the shores of Europe. This all really depends on the Indian automaker. If the micro concept ends up heading for developed countries, it probably won't be called the Nano because Tata has stated previously that it was working on a European and American version of the Nano. We look forward to learning more about Tata's new micro concept once it is premiered at the Geneva show. Photo displayed is from 2009 Tata Nano Europa Concept.
