In a unique way of informing the media about its new concept model, Opel has decided to preview the next-generation of the Zafira from a hologram of the concept car on an iPad. The car, which is scheduled to make its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March, was introduced by the firm's design boss while he was holding an iPad where a hologram of the concept car pops out. Pretty crazy stuff, no?
The Zafira Tourer Concept is supposed to give us an idea of what the actual production model will look like inside and out when it hits European showrooms next year. The minivan has taken some front end styling from the Ampera, but the new car won't be getting sliding doors. It's actually based on the Astra's hardware and shares its underpinnings with the Chevy Orlando too. The MPV will be able to provide seating for seven passengers in three rows, and it will also come with powertrain options similar to those of the current European market Astra.
