Drag Race Tuesdays is back, this time with a supercharged 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 vs. a modded Nissan GT-R.

Commenters said last week's edition of Drag Race Tuesdays was too much of a blowout. They said the ultra-impressive Lamborghini Gallardo was too powerful at stock for the tuned BMW M5. Well, in this edition of CarBuzz's weekly feature, we have one of the closest drag races we've seen in quite some time. This week's matchup pits a modified 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 complete with a supercharger against a tuned Nissan GT-R.

In case you were wondering, we will give up one piece of info before you see the race itself: speeds at the quarter-mile were measured at 137mph vs. 135mph. Which speed belongs to which car? It's a photo finish as the GT-R meets its match in acceleration. Who ya got, the GT-R to defeat another challenger or the American muscle car to finally slay Godzilla?
