@ All how many are hit by regular car each year ???? 20000 _ 30000 ??? Keep counting ... NOT electric car fault...
Nick88gm Dec 10, 2011
I called this when I first drove the prius years ago.I can c the drivers having accidents where they leave it in gear and get out of the car and it just rolling away and killing everyone in its path...
Adenis AK Ruci Dec 10, 2011
EV. Electric but Violent
Mattaius Younger Dec 10, 2011
Miftah is right though....if EVs looked like 'normal' cars AND could b charged without fossil fuels (yes that is right, plugging them in still uses oil, coal or gas people lol) then they are all good but until then, no thanks.
Adam Lopinsky Dec 10, 2011
Ev's: the silent killer
Kevin Rehbock Dec 10, 2011
Was the EV driver at least using the horn?
Matthew McKernan Dec 10, 2011
@Heath, ya that's exactly what I was thinking!
Tj Blankenship Dec 10, 2011
Ok @Alexander... You win. :) Diggin the Skyrim reference.
Heath Spence Dec 10, 2011
Jeremy Clarkson called this back when he tested the Prius for the first time when discussing the future of electric cars.
Vince DeMasi Dec 10, 2011
People should look when they cross not hearing it is no excuse
Buddy Robinson Dec 10, 2011
You gentlemen forgot about the part electric Fisker Karma
Paul Lissona Dec 10, 2011
And the lack of a gas engine sound, or diesel. That's another reason to hate electric.
Miftah Rasheed Amir Dec 10, 2011
Performs the same, we'd all accept it. Not because it's electric. A car being electric is perfectly fine. We all hate how they normally look.
Miftah Rasheed Amir Dec 10, 2011
No electric cars? Wrong. We all hate electric cars because they're all futuristic wannabes, and they are plain ugly. Admit it, that's why we hate them. Not because they're electric. If people could make electric cars look as good as others and
Erik Olsen Dec 10, 2011
People are stupid. Ever think to look before you cross?
Randall Mimms Dec 10, 2011
I vote no electric cars.

I cant completely blame it on the pedestrian for the fact I dont know where she crossed and what conditions. There's been plenty of times where I would rely on sound if I lacked good sight of the road. If you guys were in the situation u'd think diff
Clint Edwards Dec 10, 2011
@Patrick agreed, get em out if the gene pool
Patrick Schalk Dec 10, 2011
This is just natural selection taking place.
Kevin Rehbock Dec 10, 2011
We don't need louder electric vehicles, we need more people who are actually aware that giant hunks of metal are moving around in their vicinity. Pedestrians tend to be as stupid as motorists in general.
Sebastian Grey Dec 10, 2011
Lol! "taken to the hospital" what a dumb bitch.
Brenton Cozby Dec 10, 2011
ya'll ignant. EV's suck cause they don't sound good. in fact, they don't sound at all! The solution here is simple: V8
Massimo Covello Dec 10, 2011
People seem to have forgotten how to look both ways before crossing the street. Take your iPod out of your ears. This has nothing to do with electric or hybrid vehicles but every thing to do with people being aware of surroundings.
Miftah Rasheed Amir Dec 10, 2011
Agreed. If the person was careless, why blame the car? Do you want cars sounding like a dinosaur farting last for eternity? No you don't. "The cars are quiet, we need noisier engines to warn pedestrians." can't you see how stupid that sounds?
Nick Mitchell Dec 10, 2011
Hahaha @Trent, it's true
Trent Richard Benham Dec 10, 2011
At least you can hear a toaster
Dennis Rech Dec 10, 2011

Ken Madison Dec 11, 2011
Maybe EVs will wipe out idiots...
Ben Bourdon Dec 10, 2011
Good, maybe EVs will kill off all the idiots who don't look when crossing the street

"Mebbe they will have backup hydro engines, ynow, to slow hydrogen demand" what does this mean? there is no hydrogen demand you can make hydrogen from water and we have plenty of water and what is the point of using a hydrogen combustion just use an ev instead
Alex Wong Dec 11, 2011
what do you mean new science? Hydrogen was discovered in 1671 and hydrogen fuel cells in 1959. unless it is simultaneously 1672 and 1960 this technology is not new. people are cautious about using it because it is dangerous
Alex Wong Dec 11, 2011
for one thing hydrogen is much more flammable than gasoline hydrogen has to be stored at certain conditions you can walk around carrying a tank of gasoline if your car is out of gas but have you ever heard of someone carrying around a tank of hydrogen no cause it would explode
Clint Edwards Dec 10, 2011
Agree with Raymond. People forget how dangerous gasoline is, you live with something the fear goes away. New science is gonna scare people, give it awhile and the fear goes away
Raymond Reynoso Dec 10, 2011
Yeah right, next time you're driving around remember you're most likely lugging around 15 or so gallons of extremely flammable gasoline.
Alex Wong Dec 10, 2011
also which type of hydrogen car are you referring to hydrogen combustion cars or hydrogen fuel cell cars?
Alex Wong Dec 10, 2011
I meant flammable and explosions can be caused by the combustion
Alex Wong Dec 10, 2011
also the fact that storing hydrogen is dangerous because it is highly explosive!!!!
Nick Mitchell Dec 10, 2011
Hydrogen is definitely the future, the only reason it is not an everyday fuel is because it is hard to separate hydrogen molecules with other molecules
Luis Enrique Lara Dec 10, 2011
Hydrogen is the solution
Luis Enrique Lara Dec 10, 2011
Yeah and they dont mention the damage hybrid and electric cars do to the planet, batteries pollute a lot more in a longer term than CO2
Caleb Lochridge Dec 10, 2011
All this because of the crap the media is feeding the citizens and government about how EV's save the planet, and all the global warming bs
Adenis AK Ruci Dec 10, 2011
C5 is the new hybrid technology. Talibans have to recharge it over time but look on the bright side. It causes no noise pollution (y)
Nick Mitchell Dec 10, 2011
No it's a new form of c4, instead of exploding c5 just makes a giant fireball ;) JK
Chris Penza Dec 10, 2011
I think I want to plant it with c5
Buddy Robinson Dec 10, 2011
I think it looks good for what it is
Robby Bradford Dec 10, 2011
The roof does look wicked, not sire if it's in a good way though
Trevin Howell Dec 10, 2011

Daniel Bellafonte Dec 10, 2011
