Pop-up headlights are no longer legal. Pedestrian safety standards changed in the late 90s, and pop-ups wouldn't pass anymore. That's why the MR2, Miata, Corvette, etc. changed to fixed headlights around that time.
When was the last time you saw a modern manufacturer produce pop-up headlights? Even better question...based on the last MX-5 design, what would make you even think this car would have pop-up headlights?
I agree with alanda on this one, it's different and intresting design, but a nice new touch..
You guys obviously know nothing about roadsters. This is NOT a convertible...they have tops....roadsters don't. This is a great compromise. It's a fantastic idea.
