Yea... They make me sound and feel broke. Lol
Landen Renfree Nov 02, 2011
Man I've always loved the challenger and the Viper ACR I've always hoped they make a ACR version of the Challenger
Shane Carroll Nov 02, 2011
Think I'll pick up a Mega Millions ticket tonight. Y'know, just in case

That's what ACRs are all about..
Michael Ioia Nov 02, 2011
Wow look at all the goodies. I'm glad they didnt just put some badges on and call it an ACR. They actually went all out on it! Nice!!!!!!!!!

Before the supercharger ; )
Mario Callirgos Nov 05, 2011
Ya was thinking of a balanced sports car. Like the mustang gtr concept a while back or the boss 302 seca. Still a long way off but working closer. Power output goal would be 400+
Mario Callirgos Nov 05, 2011
Another pos lol. It's a 1966 coupe with a 3.3 inline 6. 120hp. 140tq. I do have a doner car already though. A 1989 5.0 For the motor and and rear end. I will prolly scrap the auto tranny for a 6 spd
Mario Callirgos Nov 05, 2011
So what if it was built in 1966 and has a 200
Mario Callirgos Nov 05, 2011
Am I sensing some hostility. 0-60 in 8.1 is not bad. My mustang is just as fast.
David Neuman Nov 04, 2011
The mistake was buying it!! Now what do you really drive? It isn't that 500 cause...... Well you now you don't own that car. I could definitely see you driving that z33 though. Do you have nice racing stripes on that puppy?
Mario Callirgos Nov 04, 2011
I would agree but the mustang 2 takes that title with a 88 hp 4 cylinder The challenger is a very close second
Mario Callirgos Nov 04, 2011
V6 Challenger is the worst pony car of my generation
David Neuman Nov 03, 2011
I'm in the picture with my car. Where are you? He man do you mind if I take a picture of your car so I can use it in my profile pic:)))))))
David Neuman Nov 03, 2011
All pieces of shit minus the gt500. Coulda shoulda woulda I picked the best bitch! 500 looks like every other mustang out there! 90 % of the public don't even know the difference!!! Had a 500 with a deposit and got it back not worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
David Neuman Nov 03, 2011
That's an ie I'm standing next to. Again you know nothing about the challenger quit pretending little boy.
David Neuman Nov 03, 2011
Ed take that picture in your profile off. You don't own any such car. Mustang and camaro both handle better than the challenger and can't be throw around the track quite easily. The challenger not as much. Camaro and the mustang not muscle cars!!!!
Shane Carroll Nov 03, 2011
@David in what way is the Camaro and Mustang NOT a muscle car? That makes zero sense
Matt Robbins Nov 02, 2011
I hadn't realized Handling was now called: "It can turn"... Now I'm not sure, but last time I checked, all cars and trucks can turn.. The Mustang is NOT a sports car lol. Nothing with a solid rear axel can claim to be a sportscar. It's a pony car.
Shane Carroll Nov 02, 2011
@Andy I think I read the same one. I believe it was a Speedfactory. The reason it was below par was that they were building a new engine for it (7 and something liters) but it didn't get finished in time so it competed with the stock 6.1
Peter Bruschi Nov 02, 2011
nah man daimler has been outta chrysler for years... chrysler products r just shit now...
Andy Kleschick Nov 02, 2011
then agian though, i dont know if that was before the germans took daimler over
Andy Kleschick Nov 02, 2011
yeah they should try and put more power out. but i remember maybe a year or two ago in i think it was motor trend, there was an article where they tested a supposedly 700 horses version of this versus the hennessey camaro and a suped up shelby, and the challenger had all sorts of problems, besides the fact that it didnt put out the power chrysler said it would.
Shane Carroll Nov 02, 2011
Surprised they left the power alone. It'd be easy enough on that thing to at least pull an even 500
Michael Ioia Nov 02, 2011
The weight is way down on this car. Did you bother reading the article? No rear seats, carbon fiber door panels, carbon fiber center console, carbon fiber trunk and hood. You can't compare the SRT8 to a GT500, the GT cost 10k more.
Eddie Harper Nov 02, 2011
There is no way this car will ever compete with GT500 and LZ1. Not enough power at all.
Vince DeMasi Nov 02, 2011
That's what I was thinking like this car is nice but it's numbers could be better and it's weight is so unnecessary it holds it back so much without it this thing would be beast
Peter Bruschi Nov 02, 2011
plus the challenger is already a titanic on wheels... they shud rly trim the fat on this beast...
Peter Bruschi Nov 02, 2011
they rly shudda put the srt10 in the challenger too... r they trying to compete with the camaro nd mustang? if so, chrysler is living under a rock, cuz im sure the ZL1 and GT500 can blow this thing away...
Jonathan Romero Nov 02, 2011
Not feeling the rims though but that's just me.. Like the color of the rims though
Buzzle Guzzle Doo Nov 02, 2011
Yeah but more like a Zonda Cinque
Andrew Grimm Nov 02, 2011
And it looks like they put something similar to the Viper ACR paint design on this.
Andrew Grimm Nov 02, 2011
I hope you are being sarcastic lol
Justin Mather Nov 03, 2011
As was I. I was defending the cars reputation.
Justin Mather Nov 02, 2011
Those are dust covers, most cars past 1990 have them.
Mario Callirgos Nov 06, 2011
those are class wins. Not overall wins
David Neuman Nov 03, 2011
They maybe lost 200lbs tops bringing this car to around 4000lbs. Not gonna compete handling wise with something 500lbs lighter. Back seat weighs maybe 50 lbs add back the weight of the strut braces at 25 lbs. hood is made of aluminum so min weight lo
Mario Callirgos Nov 03, 2011
The other two still build cool cars too. Viper ACR holds records at race tracks in Germany and america, and the c6r is competitive in it's class
Mario Callirgos Nov 03, 2011
Oh3 group A wrc wins also
Matt Robbins Nov 03, 2011
Mario you are dead wrong. Chevy has and Dodge has back in the day with the Viper GTS-R.
Aj TheDark Artist Nov 03, 2011
@David This car has lost about that much weight if not more thanks to ripping out the back seats and it's extensive use of carbon fiber and light weight parts. That's what an ACR is. It's lighter with the new 6.4, I say winning combination.
Blaire Quattro Nov 03, 2011
Wait, didn't they close down rally group b for a ford flying off a cliff . Ijs xD jk (a sad event indeed) but idk, I think this cars pretty cool for what it is but I'll stick to imports though this is more bang for buck. It's not all about the #s :)
Mario Callirgos Nov 03, 2011
Ford Is the only american car co. to win at Le Mans (4 times). And the only american car co. to win the world rally championship (3 times). Uh ford can turn
David Neuman Nov 02, 2011
This will not compete with the leguna. Still needs to lose about 500 lbs. I know I own 1 and I didn't buy it to race mustangs and camaro's. It's the best lookin car out of the three and fast enough for what it is. Would I like it faster sure.
