Nissan LEAF Wins 2011 GreenFleet “Electric Vehicle of the Year”

The well-thought of EV has picked up yet another award to add its already impressive collection.

To add to its impressive collection of awards including 2011 World Car of the Year and 2011 European Car of the Year, the Japanese automaker has now also been adjudged to have "the best performing and most suitable electric vehicle in its class." Voted for by GreenFleet: a UK firm recognizing excellence in environmental fleet management and green transport, Marketing Manager Colin Boyton said the LEAF was a worthy winner, and given the competition we find it hard to disagree.
