If you read my post correctly I said GT. GT. GT. GT. And I don't care it took forever to bring it back. The Camaro never went away( figuratively). They were still on the streets and at the strip tearin it up. And doesn't that say a lot about Ford
And who cares if the GT500 came out first. The ZL1 is still gonna stomp it into the ground. It also took Ford forever to make a GT that competed with a 10 year old f body. That's sad when I can beat every year of GT. Haven't raced a 5.0 yet.
Haha so the Camaro is worse because it's offered with more options? That doesn't make any sense. And no crap they're gonna get tested against each other. That's a good thing. The Mustang wouldn't be what it is without the Camaro and vice versa.

Point is, I think the Camaro should stick to a classic, American, muscle look. And in my eyes that means a spaced out exhaust configuration. but hey, to each his own!
That's what the Camaro is known for though, modesty. It's by no means a hyper-car and it's exhaust placement should indicate that. Most hyper-cars are European...Pagani, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti etc.
Vettes have CME. I have CME on my f body. Screw the Italians. I feel like this is too modest. Get some better tips or somethin.
This isn't a Lambo or a Ferrari. Leave the center mounted exhaust to the Italians, or for that matter, the Europeans in general.
And I love the Camaro, but it's my least favorite of the big 3 ponies in its class (GT, SRT8, SS). It's the most detached and least fun to drive. Not to mention quietest Now the ZL1 changes that (comparing to GT500)
Just watched the build video of this. Absolutely amazing. Sounds unreal too. These pictures don't it justice. They had some top notch parts on this baby.
What's the yardstick? 0-60? 1/4 mile? Track time?
As far as I know, Ken still has the fastest car on this app. I'll still take my f body though. It'll be supercharged one day.

I guess its really what your expectations are before you get into the car. I mean don't expect a Ferrari when driving a Camaro. But I love em anyway.
yeah, visibility sucks but I got the hang of it, and the mufflers on the Camaro are huge, straight pipe em or Borla ATAK and it sounds amazing!
The only things I don't like about the Camaro, you can't see anything from inside, they're getting to be pretty common, and I've heard my boss's SS, sounded kinda bland to me
6-speed stick(what every sports car should be)...but yeah transmission was great, power was there, it just didn't give me that incredible feeling that one would expect.

Patrick, I had and drove a friends SS for a few weeks. It wasn't anything extraordinary....so I really don't see what all the fuss is about? However, the praise will probably be validated once the ZL1 hits the streets.
@Patrick It does, and it's fast around a track. If u wanna see it, it was on powerblock on Spike on horsepower tv, they're the ones who built it. U can c the whole build process and the shakedown. I'm pretty sure it'll re run or is on YouTube.
