V8's were barely pushing 3? Ever heard of a ford 427 SOHC? 650 horse with the optional dual quad carbs in the early 60's. In 1961 ford put a triple deuce 390 in the galaxie 500s that put out 401.

@Greg that's not the point. An old, old Ferrari will only push 250, so why not drop a 4 banger in it? Its the whole nature of the car. Having a V6 muscle is like going to a steak house for the salad bar

My experience with sharpies/clearcoat are that even with clearcoat protection, in the sun the sharpie will fade. however this will probably stay a show piece.

I don't think sharpie would stay on the paint job permanently if he did not clear coat it. In the article it says it's cleared after he is done with the sharpie.
