GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid

As customers are discovering the perks of hybrid technology, automakers are also continuing to push this new engine technology. After first appearing in smaller cars such as the Toyota Prius, hybrid technology is now coming to larger SUVs. The GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid, like the standard Yukon hybrid, is also powered by a 6.0 liter V-8 matched to a 2-mode continuous electric ratio hybrid transmission.

With 332 horsepower, it can achieve 21/22 mpg city/highway with rear drive only and 20/20 with four-wheel drive activated. The luxuries offered in this SUV are almost on par with that of the Cadillac Escalade. In fact, the only significant differences are the brand badges. The Yukon Denali is a wonderful example of luxury meeting green technology.
