2011 Smart ForTwo Electric Drive: AKA the ED

The 2011 Smart ForTwo Electric Drive has been marketed by Smart as the alternative to the gas powered standard we are all used to. How is the ED different from the "regular" ForTwo? Outside, the ED is differentiated from its internal combustion cousins by little more than a few spashes of green paint and a load of decals and emblems. Likewise, little has changed inside the car's cabin with the exception of a few new gauges.
