2010 GMC Canyon- High Priced Truck

The 2010 GMC Canyon is a decent truck over, but there are simply others in the class that are better. This is due in large part to its underwhelming interior and base engines. Its thirsty V8 also has led many buys to opt for a compact truck over a full size one. Lastly, the Canyon's high price will also turn off a lot of buyers. The Canyon is available as a regular cab model, an extended cab, or as a crew cab.

The vehicle generally receives positive reviews for performance due to its smooth ride, but the four- and five-cylinder engines are underpowered. The Canyon has rugged look that most appreciate, but it doesn't fare well when compared to the Nissan Frontier. Substandard materials detract from the interior of the car, but some like the simple dashboard layout. The front seats are comfortable, but the rear seats are too cramped. Overall, for the price most buyers would be better off looking at some of the Canyon's competitors.
