Yukon Hybrid Improves Fuel Economy

In a time where prices at the pump matter more than they did even five years ago, consumers are looking to find large vehicles that can provide size, utility, and power along with decent mileage. The GMC Yukon Hybrid looks to fill that void. It proves all of the tough utility the regular Yukon does, but with a green outlook. It can deliver around 21/22 mpg city/highway in two-wheel drive and slightly less in four-wheel drive.

Considering the hybrid engine adds considerable weight, these fuel economy numbers are very good. The Ford Expedition, the main competition, does not offer a hybrid option, so the Yukon continues on with a strong following.
