The 2010 BMWW Alpina rides into the 2010 model year fresh from its 2009 redesign. The model was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show, and as with the previous Alpina 7-Series, it's called the B7. This latest model uses a more powerful version of the 400 horsepower, direct injection 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 found in the new 750i and 750Li. This powerful machine will continue to remain in limited numbers in the United States.
According to Alpina, the twin-turbo B7 sprints from 0 to 62 mph in only 4.7 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited at 174 mph. Not too bad for a luxury sports sedan with a six-speed automatic gearbox and room for five people. The ride has also been lowered in the front and rear, and a tiny rear spoiler, Alpina's traditional 20-spoke wheels, and a more aggressive front air intake now add a sport touch to it.
