The 2009 Hummer H3T
is a new pickup truck from Hummer
. As with all of Hummer's models, it comes with an impeccable off-road pedigree as well as tough styling fans can't seem to get enough of. Some have stated that although the H3 is great for off-road uses, it is a tough truck to live with every day as it makes for an uncomfortable on-road ride. It is available as the H3T and the H3T Alpha, which adds a V8 engine.
If you keep in mind that the H3T is an off-road machine, you should be pleased with its performance as most are with the Hummer's impressive abilities. The 2009 H3T comes with a choice of two engines. The first is a 3.7-liter five cylinder engine that makes 239 horsepower. The larger engine is on the H3T Alpha and it is a 5.3-liter V8 that make 300 horsepower. A five speed manual transmission comes standard on the H3T. On the five cylinder engine a four speed automatic is also an option. With the V8 engine, the automatic transmission comes standard on the vehicle and really provides thatg extra needed power and performance.
Unfortunately, fuel economy is a concern for both engines. According to EPA ratings, the five cylinder nets 14/18 city/highway, while the V8 gets an estimated 13/16 city/highway. The exterior has a special combination of boldness and brawn, and although the pickup's bed is small, it's nonetheless useful when accessories like a bedrail system and bed extenders are added. The interior of the H3T is simply designed and planned out. The H3T's interior is fitted with quality materials and construction, while keeping that utilitarian layout and design.
